Oi! It's drog! 😉😀

Anyway the only problem is that you have to be very careful to prevent sea bass breaking up when you turn it over OR you need a very good pan. Hake (rather like me) does have thicker skin.
If I've no spring onions it's fine with finely diced onions.... oh! and don't forget the soy sauce.

I am a big fan of Hake, purchased from the same place (or is that plaice?🥸). Best served with a couple of scallops.

Enjoying a lamb kebab etc from Mellor butchers last night and er indoors presented me with a bottle of red that she had just opened. It's an Italian grape called Negroamaro Primitivo! Don't you just love the Italians? The woke brigade would have been all over this like a rash if it were an English grape.
This translates as "Black and bitter, primitive" Could we perhaps start a movement to re christen the BLM anarchists as B&B perhaps?😀

Oh btw it's an Aldi wine, 14% and to my uneducated palate it's very acceptable.

Aldi have an excellent reputation for their wines.

Argentine beef? What's the food miles ticket on that? Plus it can be a bit dodgy in origin? Buy British and if your local butcher doesn't stock it the British Beef at Aldi has a terrific reputation, whilst I believe all the meat sold at Morrison's is British.

Supposed to be really good stuff, cost a fortune! Originally it was being used for my turn to cook one evening. I have to be honest I am not to bothered about the air miles!

Usually everything I buy is purchased from the Farmshop down the end of the road! https://www.dewsmeadowfarm.com

Looking forward to Goat Curry now!

All kitchen channel on YouTube is a godsend! He teaches you really well how to make BIR style curries. Which is handy as you can't get a proper curry down south. Obviously I knock up a large 8L pot of the base gravy and portion it into bags for future use, if you've only meat to cook its a great way for midweek dinners without having to cook from scratch etc

He must have more than 100 curry dishes on his channel but I just whipped this up this evening! Stupendous!

Just on the subject of cooking I’ve recently bought an air fryer. An amazing bit of kit!
