EH? He'd gone right over on the verge and as far away as he could without taking his wheels off the road. He appeared to be in complete control. Anyway where else could he go and which bit about his driving suggests he was driving like a twat?
Fact remains cyclist No 1 appeared quite at ease whilst cyclist no 2 was just gormless, tbh totally rubbish and imo incapable of controlling a cycle. Need proof ODB? Back in the day I'll have you know I passed my Cycling proficiency test first time..... just as I did with every other road test that I took.

Ditto..... and I go cycling too. What I would add is the his speed was excessive if the 3 women had been on horses.... but then horses are only dumb animals who can't think fully for themselves and are liable to panic and behave irrationally aren't they?
