If they want easy money send the plod round the ranges and ticket the tossers illegally parked.
Only 3 months ago - bid for £100 million to support more integration in Blackburn. Who do they think they are fooling?
Speak mealy mouthed words and do all the reports that they want but there will be no solution to this whilst the religion of Islam is being instilled daily into the minds of impressionable infants and their ignorant parents. The world and it's mother must surely know by now that Islam is intolerant of other religions. (Yet here we are granting permission for yet another Islamic school in the borough.) Unsurprisingly there is no mention of that factor anywhere in that report is there?Only 3 months ago - bid for £100 million to support more integration in Blackburn. Agree with Chuka for once, he is spot on, this is a big problem being swept under the carpet.
You only need to research her background or talk to her to know that is the truth DrogSo... Panorama. Nowt we don't know and the symbolic meeting on the bridge was ludicrous, irrelevant and tbh rather embarrassing.
Refusing to be interviewed or make comment on Panorama were the UK Govt, the Leader of BwD Council and the "Rt Hon" (kinell!) Kate Hollern MP! Abdication of responsibility or what? I'll quote someone from half a century ago when action should have been taken and who was NOT afraid to make public comment but sadly paid the penalty with the effective ending of his political career.
"The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature.
Above all, people are disposed to mistake predicting troubles for causing troubles and even for desiring troubles: "If only," they love to think, "if only people wouldn't talk about it, it probably wouldn't happen."
At all events, the discussion of future grave but, with effort now, avoidable evils is the most unpopular and at the same time the most necessary occupation for the politician. Those who knowingly shirk it deserve, and not infrequently receive, the curses of those who come after."
That final sentence condemns the ones above electing to remain silent far better than I could ever do. Dunno about anybody else but I seriously doubt our current MP could ever construct a passage of that quality should her very life depend on it.
How did she get nominated? The very few times I have heard her she is incoherent, I wonder if the Labour Party try and keep her off the telly? Is she one of Corbyn’s girls, I expect she will be given a cushy role for being good - Minister of Comedy perhaps.So... Panorama.
