Yes it was. But JDT would have benefited from having a better view in the Directors Box; he should go there more often to enable him to view the game better. He would have been in constant contact with DJ.Damian Johnson by the looks of it.
I like DJ hope he sticks with us, our manager one day.Yes it was. But JDT would have benefited from having a better view in the Directors Box; he should go there more often to enable him to view the game better. He would have been in constant contact with DJ.
I could be wrong but I think if there was a manager in him he'd have given it a go somewhere else by now.I like DJ hope he sticks with us, our manager one day.
Referee Robert Madley should be investigated for the bias that he displayed today. If I was syill doing reviews he'd have had no more than 3/10. Instant yellow cards for the Rovers players v a good talking to and warnings for LUFC players! How does that figure? He was pressed into booking Gray because he stupidly kicked the ball away and that offence is an automatic yellow this season. Also if he had used equal measure for Ampadu (4) as he used for the Rovers players he could have been sent off twice over.Ampadu, should have been carded a lot sooner too.
'risky'??? Bloody foolish, even stupid passes against a team that had obviously been well briefed about his weaknesses. He got away with them yesterday but next up Bristol, Southampton etc will have been taking note.Wahlstedt
Made a good save in the second-half when it deflected off Pickering. One or two risky passes, but I think he's gaining confidence.
Makes no difference imo. Communications are easy enough and the players know the orders were coming from on high. One of our best 3 managers used to sit in the stands. Performances, tactics and formations are far clearer from high up. I don't know why more managers don't do it, or at least put trusty coaches up there. After all it's why they put the TV cameras up there.I didn’t watch the game today because I was pretty sure we wouldn’t win but with JDT in the stands who was in the technical area and did he motivate the team?
I agree with all that Drog but I suppose it’s been the custom and tradition from schoolboy football that the manager stands on the touch line. I remember Tony Mowbray got dogs abuse for daring to sit down during a match!Makes no difference imo. Communications are easy enough and the players know the orders were coming from on high.
