Nearer the bottom than the top no:(w!
66% possession and twice as many attempts on goal and nowt to show for for it. Old fault we Just need too many touches in front of goal. Watford fast and direct in the last third. A little like a comparison of Man City to Liverpool last season... and we all know how that ended.
On the plus side Armstrong could do easily have scored two and we'd have come home with a point.

Quite pleased with the performance but we came up against Ben Foster in top form.
Lenihan's unlucky OG and Armstrong's poor penalty were the key points in the second half.
But, as Kate says, it's now 1 point from 9, the early season form is forgotten and the great goal difference is now just ordinary.
Let's hope for a turn of fortune on Saturday 👍

We appeared to be playing without strikers tonight.
Armstrong was poor again.
In the 2nd half they snuffed out Holtby.
Mowbray was caught out tactic wise again tonight.
Lots of huff n puff, little end result.
Not good enough.....again.

So much for me thinking we would do well on the road this season. We looked like the home team and were easily caught on the break by the away team. One of those nights BUT we need to take stock and sort it or it could become a habit.
