We have a blueprint?Looks like Finneran is on the wanted list of a number of clubs. We need to develop players like him and Phillips into saleable first team players like we did with Wharton but it seems regulations are making it ever harder to work to our survival blueprint.

It's Groundhog Day!
Where has this come from? Rankin-Costello's contract expires in June 2027, so we would surely be due a very good fee for him if this is true. I would be surprised if he's leaving.JRC has reached agreement to join Sheffield Wednesday at the end of this season. He won’t want to get injured.

Can we not have a bit of peace for a few weeks after a tough season?
Well whoopy do! Never mijnd net 9m from the deal, that represents a loss of 42m in my book! FFS! To quote the Bard, "Something is (very) wrong in the state ofAlan Nixon reporting that Bayern Munich are lining up a £60m move for Adam Wharton which would see Rovers net £9m from the deal.

There is absolutely no chance a player in this league could reach a point where they're worth anything close to £60m. Aside from clubs that were relegated and immediately had a fire-sale, Ollie Watkins is the record sale by a Championship club at ~£28m, and that's with him being a goalscorer who are generally more expensive than any other position.Never mijnd net 9m from the deal, that represents a loss of 42m in my book!
I suspect we had little choice but to sell Wharton for less than were hoping. With the owners unable to add funds to the club as they normally do, perhaps a panic ensued and we had to get some sort of dough through the door. Unfortunate timing all-round, if so.Even so we've been short changed and I'd wager more than a few scouts of big clubs have been bollocked for missing him.
The timing never seems to be right when we have a real prospect to sell at the proper value.I suspect we had little choice but to sell Wharton for less than were hoping. Yes an auction at the time may have pushed the price up. Saying that though I begrudgingly believe Palace were the best fit for him development wise. Ash Phillips didn’t do much for Plymouth.Even so we've been short changed and I'd wager more than a few scouts of big clubs have been bollocked for missing him.
