Indeed fans do often know more than 'the experts'.

A lot of these clubs like Villareal seem to only watch highlights reels - where you can pretty much make anyone look amazing.

I suspect not many Rovers fans would have bought Brereton to play for a club a level above after seeing his overall performances (even during his good season - which was only a half season).

At least he will be starting at his level with a sub appearance at Gillingham.

On BBD i have never seen him score a goal like he did yesterday for Rovers.I was looking forward to seeing it on youtube as i listened to the game on the radio, hellfire he risked injury to score.Many Rovers fans said he was holding back last season, it was true.
