True I’ve taken all my money from the uk and pensions have been moved the lads have to. We have no faith from what we’ve seen and endured in the uk the last 10-15 years mate.You can run, but you can't hide Dunn.

I certainly don't ever recall a referendum or even a General Election fought with the main topic being "A vote for us will see almost unlimited immigration of people from overseas swelling the population of the UK by 40% (and rising), the majority with little education and who hold a strong faith to a backward religion intolerant of all other religions."

Bit of a lazy journalist really, Turkish food is far more than kebabs. Gozleme, Shakshouka, Lahmaccun.
A lot of breads flat based are Turkish which everyone eats.

Nah you did well. Still I feel for our old town and county generally.
I've been watching this chap called Peter in the USA, the decline of the cold mine towns under Biden.
Allot of similarities with Lancashire coal, cotton and general northern steel towns.

I don't know how kosher this is but I'm hearing that err mansions on Billinge End Road have been 'jerry built'. Word is reaching my shell like that two new firms have been brought in to repair some really serious damage and mistakes from the previous builders. The entire repair bill will be massive as much of the problems are structural.
I recall speaking to a recently retired architect before work was started and I asked if his company had got the job. He said "No, we never had a chance, they have their own preferred architects but I've come across them in the past and they are decidedly sub standard".... or words to that effect.
I recall too being told too that the BwD Building inspector had not been on site for almost 12 months and that when he did he was shocked at the poor standard of workmanship.
Oh well. Shame. Never mind eh?

Interesting to note that the EG garage at Whitebirk services was selling fuel cheaper than Tesco yesterday but no one criticises them! There’s a lot of jealousy around regarding the two self made successful business brothers. Sad really.
