This is an excellent article by Douglas Murray where similarly , he points out that some crimes are more important than others . As far as Obama is concerned it’s the death of Floyd that’s more important than the killing of the innocents at Uvalde , as the killing of the innocents, on this occasion, didn’t quite fit the narrative.

Murray highlights the reaction to the murder of the Labour MP , Jo Cox , by a so called far right nut job and how it was linked to Brexit and how everyone on the right should share blame . Yet the mainly left wing MSM’s narrative around the brutal killing of Conservative MP , Sir David Ames by the Islamist Ali Harbi Ali , wasn’t to point the finger at Islam and Muslims and spread the blame around his religion , instead it was to focus on MPs and their Online Safety Bill and being nicer to each other .

As Murray concludes , this is the dishonesty of our age and how our response to tragedies depends on who the culprits and victims are and what wing of the political spectrum the context fits .

The multi - millionaire Obama is just one of the liberal left’s many hypocrites .

OOT, It's more to do with the way the US political system operates.
If you don't control both houses, it difficult to get your agenda done. Also, there are lots of mavericks on both sides, there being no Whips to reign in the members.
One wonders how much more the US could have achieved, if it had had a more compliant political system.

Spot on that. Murray is brilliant and "dishonesty" is completely the correct word. I'm appalled these days that objectivity seems to have been thrown out of the window by teachers, the media, public figures etc.

You get this to an extent on both sides of politics, but I think its a lot worse on the left. The woke doctrine is quite religious in that it doesn't allow for uncertainty or disagreement. It says there's only one morally right way of thinking and any amount of dishonesty is acceptable to manipulate people into that.

Perhaps they’re annoyed generally. Hungary is quite a worried country about white replacement theories etc.
Maybe they’ve seen the effects of multiculturalism in the U.K. and France and don’t wish to replicate it in there country.
