Booing BLM

What does everyone think? I bloody loved it personally.

The BLM movement were a disgrace in their London protests. Repeatedly attacked police, vandalised Churchhill's statue to the point of having to board it up, climbed on the Cenotaph, tried to burn the British flag, nearly beat to death several counter-protestors. And for what? A racist cop in another country, when our own cops tolerate getting dry-humped at the Notting Hill Carnival.

And then to have 22 millionaires do their superficial protest each week after refusing any salary cuts as the taxpayer kept their colleagues in jobs? No thanks.

I think everyone who read their manifesto on the just giving page could be under no illusion with regard to this organisations true motives. Not my cup of tea, suffice to say.

Its just the latest trendy cause for the disaffected left to support, it’s a shame that it’s true meaning has been hijacked.

I saw something on twitter yesterday about this. Any news articles or is it just random people who feels offended?

I have thought about this and it seems like only teams in Britain are doing this at the moment (correct me if I’m wrong). It also seems like Sky and BT is promoting BLM as often as they can and I assume they think everyone is supporting this movement. No one has really been able to question this movement so the media giants like Sky have had an easy task to promote/brainwash this to their viewers. Now when fans are returning to the stadiums there might actually be people with different opinions and this might be a rude awakening for them. Let’s see what happens.

Seems to me that the establishment i.e. the press, media, FA et al were 'shocked' by this. They are all bleating how dreadful the booing was. Well they need to get used to it because no sanctimonious words will prevent it happening across the land. As for me I wasn't shocked in the slightest, I'd seen it coming and talked about it long ago. People are bloody sick of BLM. Particularly paying homage to some small time gangster who refused to be arrested. I suggested long ago that if it were to continue it must be changed to 'ALL LIVES MATTER' (Rem the Burnley supporter AND his girlfriend in the plane over the Etihad actually was sacked for doing it) if not then it's most definitely racist in itself and the press media et al are supporting it. Those clowns appear to be shocked that their woke stance is being rejected by the grass roots supporters which just illustrates how out of touch they are.

btw any followers of grass roots park football? Did they ever take the knee down pleasy?

I doubt wayne rooney could remember George Floyds name if he was put on the spot. Most other footballers too might struggle.

Moronic comments aplenty in this article.
Dion Dublin says if you don't agree with taking the knee you're a racist 😆
Wayne Rooney preaching on what constitutes disappointing and upsetting behaviour 😂
Rent-a-gob Linker had to have a say as well obviously
Time to not let (some) people into the game if they do not support this movement! Best Regards from Josef...eh...I mean Micah Richards.

"I am sick to death of talking about this situation" Micah Richards
I know how you feel cock! Me too!

Interestingly Richards is imo a crap pundit and owes his current position largely to the knee of Derek Chauvin. I wonder if he'll send Chauvin a Christmas card?

The FA must be crapping it now when other grounds open with limited supporters. I bet they are already penning a memo to all clubs re their selection of those 2000 and to only let people in who are known members of the local christian gospel choir.

Now the biggest question, will you Gordon be let back in to the game if you need to fill these criteria’s? 🤔

Good thread. Commonsense posts and all non racist.

Mind you there are others elsewhere who will call me racist for posting the above so if they are watching just a note that my wife of 22 years is most certainly non-white as is our Son. I really don't know what the PC correct terms are today, and I mean today as they do seem to change. Maybe I should check at BLM HQ c/o SKY Sports.

In reality Bend The Knee is the BLM movement flexing their muscles in an areas in which the have increasing influence - Football and TV - which was ok for a while but is now just boring and bordering on brainwashing.

Dublins comment sums that fool up.

I guess like ARA I’ve got ‘ skin in the game ‘ so this is my two pennyworth . I’ll start first with this excellent post copied off one of the Millwall threads about their players taking the knee :

“ ...........The media love to portray Millwall as a racist club, but as you well know this is a complete falsehood. Even in the seventies, when racism was commonplace on terraces around the country, the National Front had no joy recruiting at Millwall. Our fans made their views very clear to the NF in their own unique way!

Your proposed actions today, however, will give the media an excuse to slander the club once again because your 'virtue signalling' will not take place in an empty stadium, but in front of the fans whom you are insulting. I use this word deliberately. You don't seem to realize the BLM is a political organization from head to toe. It wants to 'defund the police' and 'abolish capitalism'. Even 'taking the knee' is a political statement. It predates the Floyd killing and started off as a sign of disrespect to the U.S. National Anthem.

The whole BLM movement is insulting to many because it seeks to destroy our country's values. I don't mean nationalism or jingoism but the values that unite people across the political spectrum. A belief in the rule of law, free speech, respect for others and the social justice that many of our forebears had to fight for in the trade union movement.

Your excuse for supporting this movement is an insult to our intelligence and an overtly political statement. It's particularly damaging at this time when so many fans are suffering financial hardship that you couldn't even begin to understand. By supporting BLM you are not healing divisions but creating them. I fear that your actions will cause not just a division between players and fans but a gulf of betrayal that will never be bridged.

If you want to campaign against discrimination then please do so, but supporting BLM is the wrong way to do it. We all value the work you've done in supporting the Millwall Community Scheme. This is a true anti-discriminatory initiative that brings people of all races together. Football in general, and Millwall in particular, has been a great healer of divisions in the past. Please don't put all this at risk by engaging in hollow political gestures.”

Back to me now !!

I abhor the BLM movement in the same way I abhor the NF , the BNP and Corbyn’s Labour Party . All are extreme political movements that spread hate , division and racism . The BLM movement has put back race relations in this country by 30 years plus .

I fully support the admirable anti racist movements like “ Kick it Out “ and “ Show Racism the Red Card “ Over the years these organisations/ charities have made a difference and through their work, football grounds are far more inclusive . In my experience Ewood is now up there with the best .

The BLM movement needs to be outed for what it is . An extreme and divisive left wing political movement . I’ll leave Tom Goodenough to fill in the blanks

Man that post by the Millwall fan is exceptional, if only the press would publish it.

I am right behind the Millwall fans. We’ve had enough of this pandering political nonsense effecting football with the likes of LGBT and rainbow laces etc before. Football is there for us to enjoy watch and provide some entertainment much like TV. It’s not there to “educate” us or make policitcal gestures and posturing, if it wants to do that then it will continue on its death spiral which won’t be long now wage caps, covid and repayments back to the likes of Sky are beginning.
All summer even the most average of players have been on Twitter Relating there political stances to anyone who’d listen. Why would Joe Bloggs want to listen to Gary Nevilles polo all thoughts on MNF? Or his twitter platform or even sky news as of this morning. The problem is everyone is too distracted with each other’s lives and this virtue signalling make me look good and hollier than thou rubbish that they fail to actually reflect on themselves honestly. It’s as if most are living in a bubble.

The real crux is the average Joes are sick to death of being lectured at and judged by so called liberals and self acclaimed progressives. Just like the arguments with human rights lawyers and theJamaicans deportation saga, I’ve come to the conclusion that these types are mentally ill and low on confidence that they feel the need to say and do what they do.

Last 24 Hours I’ve heard the following;

Stan Colleymore- Woman beater, drug user, dogger in car parks, threats to kill exes, serial cheat and abandoned a mother carrying his twins and he’s lecturing me and everyone else on how to behave?

Micah Richards - Micah says he’s tired ofsame old conversation, well people are sick of the conversation being rammed at them 24/7. This coming from a lad who knowingly knew he couldn’t play and fleeced villa for 3 years at 50k a week with no intention of playing and was caught with his other BAME pal spitroasting a teenage girl in a Manchester toilet not that long ago. Again another wonderful person and character to lecture.

Wayne Rooney - Says it’s a disgrace and a shame this coming from a serial cheat, drink driver, kerb crawler, prostitution enabler, etc

Trevor Sinclair - claiming it wasn’t a surprise with Millwall fans, I guess it shouldn’t have been a surprise when Trev decided to drink drive and get convicted of racially abusing a white police officer 18months ago.

Gary Lineker - A complete tosser anyways. Give all Brexiteers are nazis anyways Gaz why is this man aloud to have any voice funded by taxpayers money?

Dion Dublin - anyone booing is a racist. Well Dion thanks for that articulate point well made, maybe those bame marches were centographs got defaced by BLM, violence extreme knife crime committed in Ethnic areas, looting, rioting, forced divisional inequality ratios in organisations like the BBC maybe people were booing because that’s what they make of BLM so far.

Not to mention it’s now a party political movement and calling itself a liberation movement.

Good points ARA . Those who’ll call you racist will no doubt live and virtue signal from the white middle class leafy suburbs , as far as they can get from the ordinary black and brown folk they patronise with their fake compassion.

An excellent article written by Brendon O’Neill describing the very types I’m referring to .

Haven't heard from you for a while dunnfc but a cracking post to return with 👍
Thank you Wilps. Been having an operation on my stomach in October and resting since. Then a huge move coming at NY. That said I implore everyone to read the co founder of BLM and her thoughts on white people and the groups aims here;
Majid Nawaz of all people actually read it out today and I thought it was as disgusting. I’ve been on Twitter and some are saying it’s a knee for adversity for the EFL and not BLM but that makes no sense when the kneeling is associated with the footballer in USA and what BLM have adopted it to over here, in today’s Wayne Rooney statement he even says the kneeling is BLM related! So why would i a working white British person acknowledge BLM? It’s a threat to our existence through deceitful political means and if I’m at ewood I will boo anyone kneeling.

Now the link also shows CKR once of rovers giving it a black power fist, I think we allwere appalled at videos of bame people demanding USA citizens and coercing them at any opportunity to do this. It’s no way to do with football or equality this is BLM related.

Good article OOT. Must say I'm rather surprised it's originated from the pen of Spiked's Editor who describes himself as a 'Libertarian marxist'.
