Woooooooo! I´ve sobered up. Gally is back in the starting line-up.

It´s a tough one to call. Everything points to a dull draw with 2 teams in poor form with not much to play for. However, Cardiff are 8 points from the play-offs. Surely any team in that position has to hope they can somehow magic 5 or even 6 wins out of 6 and go for the win?
They have a hell of a lot bigger chance of finishing 6th than us going down, so . . . .

As a fan I would be livid if we were 8 points off the play-offs with nothing to lose and instead played for an insipid draw. As usual our best chance of winning is that cardiff play for the win, as I am certain they could keep us out easily if they played 5 across the back. Especially as we are so poor at set pieces.

I´m going against my first instinct and am changing my prediction to a 2-1 win for Cardiff. In many ways that would be the best thing to happen and hopefully a win for Rotherham.
We need something to wake us all up as looking around it seems a lot of fans have fallen into a Monotony Mowbray induced coma regarding the season. Something to play for at the bottom would at least ignite some passion . . . . surely?

Last time I said anything like that was in spring 1965. I learned a hard lesson back then that I had to live with for 28 years! Be careful what you wish for Husky.

So many mysterious ´injuries´ under Mowbray. One wonders how many are actually personality related.
It's a pretty combative midfield isn't it? TM must be anticipating a bit of rough stuff from McArthy's mob. We do know Rothwell is injured, and as for Gallagher / Dolan no doubt Mowbray is either looking for a bit of muscle up top and in our box at corners (aberration's like last weeks pathetic marking at Wycombe hopefully eradicated) or he's hoping Gallagher get's a career ending injury so he can get off the hook and we can pick up some insurance money.

Anyway here's the form table over the last 4 matches. Cardiff 1 goal for and 6 against whilst Rovers have 1 goal for and 4 against ............. Blackburn Rovers | Form Guide | Last 4 Matches | Football Web Pages
Some surprising names down there isn't there? Swansea and Bristol City for starters.

Something tells me this match won't be first up on the telly tonight. :pensive:

1-1 but I'd rather have Husky's score in the post above.

I´m pretty confident. I called the same last season and was proven right.

This will be the last game I´ll watch this season, unless by some miracle we actually end up having something to play for. . . . .

It´s a bit of a strange one. But watching Rovers these last few games has been like watching as a neutral where you don´t care what happens as it makes no difference. And one where you would probably turn off if the football was as mind numbing as it has been,
