Just a sign of how disinterested I am in the Champions League these days plus the effects of lockdown that when clicking around this morning (Sun) I've only just discovered that Man City beat Real Madrid on Friday and that Chelsea got a whupping by Bayern yesterday. I didn't even know they were all playing and perhaps more pertinently I wouldn't care if any of those scores were reversed either.

How many from Manchester, London, Madrid and Munich were even involved I wonder? Am I alone in being completely disinterested or is this there a general malaise to the Champions League? Is this why there has been no comment on here?
Seems Gareth Bale is equally disinterested as he wastes his talent taking wheelbarrow loads of cash to the bank in Madrid. Rather than resent these wastrals as I once would have, I now delight in watching examples like him / Pogba / Sanchez etc as they separate fools from their money.

Tbh my disinterest applies to ANY Cup competition these days. I'd rather sit outside with a cold beer or glass of wine than switch the telly on to watch suchlike. tbh if I did I'd probably watch Wheeler Dealers!
