I’ve had one or two ! Just trying to be clever Wilpshire with the word Rovers :

If Rovers beat Oxford & Rovers ( Doncaster ) beat Wigan , our Rovers are champions

:joy:
"I see" said the blind man. So what happens if Bristol beat Southend then?:imp:

A bit more possession according to the BBC but having watched it on a stream we attacked a lot more but had no finish.ers on the pitch.
I couldn't find my usual stream. Not over bothered either tbh whereas last few matches I've been riveted to the screen

Not my animosity Gord. I don't want to have a discussion with someone who wants to make it personal.
B&W did have a point Al. "Bollox" being over abrasive in the overall context of the discussion imo.

We didn't have a record unbeaten run though. We had a run which consisted of 35 matches with just one defeat. Excellent in itself of course but Plymouth away spoiled any possible record.
.
Christ Gord that was on February 3rd. How many matches do you need to qualify for an unbeaten run?:innocent:

I know but if we had not lost to Plymouth then Mowbray might have selected a stronger team.

It's not the language mate, it's the tone. As you say, we are big boys, but there is no need for any ill feeling. You both should just take a step back. There's absolutely no need for this. Now, kiss and make up, this instant!;) Have a great Saturday night boys and girls!

Not happy with that. Put a bit of a shift in second half and to be honest no one cares but Tony was on about respecting the league and so on, I don't think he did with that line up.

Poor.

I think today is one of very mistakes TM has made so far, a crack at winning the league was thrown away today with the pie eaters drawing, he may live to regret it

There was no ill feeling, certainly not from me, until his aggressive post. Sorry but I'm not taking any responsibility for that spat whatever is said.

Correct.

Tony had a dream,
To build a football team,
He won promotion so he went to the pub instead,
Caddis at the back,
No one in attack,
We're rovers fans,
We want our cash back.

Booooooooo

Joking of course

Mowbray is on record as saying that after a few years nobody remembers who won or came second. Goldfish the lot of us.

FFS Wigan even tried to help us.

Let's not forget we were bookies favs to win this tinpot league having the biggest budget and arguably biggest and best squad.

Still we got promotion which is apparently a phenomenal success story. I have not made that up.

Well despite all the snidy comments, I've just got back from London and would not necessarily question the team selection and why who played wherever but would comment that for me, today was the most committed Rovers away display of the season. To a man, they all bust a gut, battled and worked their absolute tripe out.
On any other day, with a fair minded ref, the rub of the green, a 4 or 5 to 1 win wouldn't have flattered us at all.
I was proud to be a Rover today because of the fans but more importantly, it wasn't the team we'd have liked to have seen but despite any deficiency, they displayed what the blue and white shirt means, for me, you can't ask for more.

It's funny how different the game is when you actually see it!

I saw plenty today to say both 'he's a real player, I'm excited' and 'sorry son you're on your bike'
The effort, drive and determination that all Rovers players put in today was fantastic and the best I've seen for years.
