Rovers started brightly and are taking the game to the mags. Currently 73% play to the rovers.
holtby just spurned a glorious opportunity a minute after trav 'introduced' himself to Almiron.
Kaminski looking like a gk who can actually 'play a bit' out of his area.

oh.... and the ref seems to be a homer!

Playing decent football loads of possession but no cutting edge against Newcastle's second string,I can understand keeping Amo on the bench but the other forwards have to step up to the plate.

With Ayala signing it's a even stranger Decision not to play Wharton tonight,he will obviously be off on loan or Williams is being sold.

It's bloody Brereton you are talking about! Honestly he'd struggle in League 2!

I feel sorry for the other 10! Playing damned good football foe the second time in 4 days and that tosser up front just ensures it all goes to waste! Bournemouth and NUFC commentators so impressed with the rovers play and we have that plonker at the business end.

So. 2 defeats in a row now, against Premiership B teams.

That will be the story of the season. We won't go down, but we won't get near the top six.

Some call it stability, others mediocrity. But as with Bowyer, that's also Mowbray's level

Disagree husky. We are a good target man and a couple of defenders off top six. 3 prem outfits in just over a week and unlucky not to beat all 3. Came to my mates to watch his dodgy box for the second half after that ifollow nonsense and tbh we were laughing out loud every time brereton was involved. 7m :joy:  :worried: Never thought I'd say this but I can't wait for the disappointingly poor Gallager to be fit.

Just an eternal question to ask. How come Williams has the knack og getting on the end of almost every set piece into the box? And how come he cannot keep a header or a shot under the bar? Surely he must be told at Brockhall that it's better to hit the target with any sort of an effort than blaze over the bar. I know he's a defender but 'Make the keeper make a save' is the best mantra to follow. Williams should realistically be looking at 7-10 goals a season.

Just read Travis may need a operation that just about rounds off a bad night at the office. We have to turn possession into goals, sat will be the time to start.

I’m not anti- football and can understand that fans want to see Rovers play some decent stuff . However I’m a bit more of a ‘ win by whatever means possible ‘ sort of fan . I’d rather see these incredible stats reversed and Rovers into the next round

I hope playing well and losing doesn’t become a habit .

It will if we can't find a proper target man.

I recall Forest getting relegated from the Prem in the 92-93 season by playing slick, passing football on the floor but with no end product. We did the double that season 1-3 and 4-1

We had no-nonsense strikers then and They knew were the goal was and were to be in the box when our wingers made a cross ball. I mean to compare Shearer and Newell to BB and Gallagher...it’s not possible. We need a kind of Mitrovic who can command and create fear in the opponents defenders.
