I will start this away from whose good enough or not for transfer rumours , who ya want and links .

Question 1. Does Mowbray stay or go to the tractor boys? i think he stays here for unfinished business
Question 2. Does Dack stay or go? I think that depends on his knob and if the London lights draw him especially with that girl.

Tony Mowbray stays and Dack stays. Venkys will plow money into the club in an effort to earn promotion to the PL.

Right back, left back and a murderous defensive midfielder capable of connecting a pass for me. If we get that, and a meaningful fitness regime pre-season, we will challenge for promotion again next season.

Keep in mind that I am not a soccer expert nor am I in Venkys’ confidence. All of the above is pure opinion.

All that and another centre back and at least one winger needed unless you play Bennett on the wing. Even then we need some reliable squad players as back up and a back up keeper. I've watched Leutwiler in cup matches and he is dodgy keeper personified.

I'd agree with most except the need for a left back. I do have high hopes for Bell. Also lets not forget the lads coming through at Brockhall. Tomlinson, Wharton and Travis for starters. It's a big step up but if none of em come through then why do we have them? Why not simply scour the rejects of the big clubs for talent. Armstrong and Chapman being cases in point with Mulgrew, Bennett and Graham at the other end of the scale.

1: King Tony stays unless messed about in India, he must be interesting other clubs considering people told him to stay away from blackburn as it is a minefield etc....turned it around, fans on side, promoted, pretty good signings and so on. If they mess him about he will have offers in the championship for sure.
2: He has had the best season of his career however we have seen it all before, agents, offers, some bird in London etc....better players have been tempted away, being part of a promoted team and being the 'star' man he is going to get suiters this summer that is for sure. So does he want to stay is the first question, then if he does we are then hoping Tony is running the show and not dumb and dummer. 750k to 10-15 million may trigger a sale to fill someones pockets..

We will need at least two new players up front if the loans are going back, new central defender and at least one very good midfielder, perhaps a goalie is Alan is right too.

Have Venkys learned anything, no idea, do they even want to learn, no idea. What will they do next, no idea. One thing for sure we are one step away from the land of milk and honey with a great ground, training set up etc.....Would we interest potencial buyers?

I take it '2' is a reference to Dack?
Twas ever thus though. It's dog eat dog in football as we know more than most. I dread to think how the club would be faring without Jack's injection of funds. Lets be honest we were poor as church mice between '65 and Jack taking over in 89. Then we became the richest club in the Championship in 1991-2 and again in 2000-2001 (with Fulham) and we had the best squads and had attracted top managers as a result. By most account we have the best and most expensive squad and wage bill in League one and it's got us promoted.
John Williams said 'We are not a selling club, we are a trading club' and that has to be about right and applicable to every club in varying degrees with the exception of Man City at present. We all recognize the fine example set down the road but Burnley have sold a star a year (to fund the rest of the squad) virtually haven't they? Austin, Rodrigues, Ings, Grayt, Keane, Trippier have all gone for big money and guess what? Good management means they've never been missed! Who in Anfield is talking about Coutinho these days but last season one could have been led to believe that his leaving was the beginning of the end for the scousers. I bet no one would trade him for Salah at this moment in time would they?
So if we sell Dack for big money it'd be a bummer but if that money could see Mowbray use his connections and judgement to sign Armstrong, Chapman and maybe Payne plus see 3 others of similar quality in midfield and defence come in then that's all well and good isn't it?

Yes as per Abbey question:

No problem selling Dack as long as it is reinvested not stuffed inside someones vest. History tells us we better try and keep him.

I'd agree but Southampton wouldn't let us sign Shearer unless we let them have Speedie would they? I still feel cheated that I didn't see those two play that season together. That would have really been a nightmare scenario for opposing defenders.

No transfer fee involved so his wage demands will be significant I'd imagine. The world of modern transfers where he and his agent will be rolling in it and Hibs denied.
Probably why Hibs are included in the the pre season tour.

From the twitter place: RE: Dylan McGeouch. Nothing in it, I'm told. Seems he will be leaving Hibs this summer, but at the moment, doesn't appear it will be to #Rovers

I doubt there is anything in that. We know the way Mowbray elects the team to play and that the team needs a target man to share the back to goal graft with Danny Graham. Rhodes simply isn't that man. For the record neither are Samuel and Nuttall.

Rhodes is a tart line goalscorer who depends on his team mates setting him up and I doubt that is the nature of players like Dack and Graham to gift all the chances to Rhodes. They are more than capable of netting themselves and don't need a dependant passenger.

al surely every goalscorer relies on being set up ? bloody hell even messi gets the ball from others ( not every time granted but you know what i mean)

The first signing I would make is a top defensive coach, no disrespect to Tony. Get someone in for the organisation and concentration side of it, and it’ll save us points & money.

Rhodes... square peg in a round hole in the current Blackburn set up. In fact he's been a square peg at every team that he's been to since he left us.
We had all this sentimental nonsense with Jon Stead. I was right then too as Steadinho's been plodding around Divs 1 & 2 ever since.

we don't need a square peg that will bag 20-25 goals in the championship? ok cool.
