Butterworth looks a find that’s for sure. Came on for Danny G on 71 minutes and gave a cameo performance for his debut. Another little un who looks a little like harry chapman but favours Armstrong in his actions and movement.

Not a bad window really. We now have a hungry squad of young talented players with a mix of experience. A lot will be in fear of us for once.

Going to be a tough job to pick a team from that lot.

Probably only wanted him short term to deputise for Danny Graham and provide a target man after Danny tires. He's 32 years old for Christ's sake. I'm sure we have enough quality to keep the ball at the other end now when we need to hold on to a lead.
It was good to see Ben Brereton holding up a blue and white scarf and a (nearly) blue and white shirt last night. It's been a saga and I hope it's been worth it.

Can't help feeling that Forest will thinking they've got the better deal, but like Drog mentioned above about Armstrong, there's a lot of posturing about price between the selling and buying club. I'm sure Rovers would have to get promoted etc. before all the add ons kick in, and Mowbray seems to really rate him.

Having said that, I'm looking forward to seeing Brereton playing in a Rovers shirt, and hope he reaches his potential with us. Best of luck Ben!

Nothing surprises me in football. I can't imagine that Brereton has come to warm the bench though. Thing with WBA is that they have lots of bunce following relegation but as it stands they aren't guaranteed a return. If I were Dack's agent I'd keep him on his toes and hope for an offer from a Prem club in January

Five million is far too low for Dack. But they know that. There is no risk in making a ridiculously low offer. All it does is test the water and, if they are lucky and we are not, potentially unsettle the player.
