Tried to tune out of football on holiday, just watched the matches, come home, log in, lowe is coming back! At best he runs about a lot, did he not turn down a contract offer in the summer to move on to better things which it turns out he is so great they want him gone asap. Total backward step which will only lead to backward passes.

Drog I hope you are a football genius and see something we don't.

For me it’s all down to how much we will be paying him.
If he comes for an average L1 player’s wage then it’s probably worth a punt - who knows, he might find his level in L1.
If, however, ToMo is blowing a large chunk of his January wages budget on Lowe then it’s a ridiculous move.
I guess we will only find out when we see who else has arrived come the end of Jan.

His first goal for Rovers and his fucking last. Showing that emphasises what a useless midfielder he really is but you've got the bit between your teeth and as usual you'll pursue your opinion like a dog with a bone á la Big Sam.:) But hey ho! we wouldn't have you any other way.;)

If Rovers could sign Jason Lowe on reasonable terms then definately we should be interested . Initially to fit in at right back ( Nyambe although improving is still struggling ) and as a ready made holding midfielder if Smallwood gets injured or is suspended . He’d thrive in this Division with his energy , physicality and tackling abilities .

One last attribute, he always gave 100% for the Rovers and I never saw him hiding despite the unreasonable stick he got from certain segments of Rovers support .

Only thing that would be interesting would be to see if he can spell his name correctly on the contract..lmfao..worst player iv seen !!!!

I wonder why so few are able to put irrational prejudice aside and apply your level of logic and reasoning WB.

Other players who were targets for the Ewood hate mob over the years included the likes of Jason Wilcox, Lucas Neill, Lee Carsley, Morton Gamst Pederson and unbelievably Tim Sherwood! Ponder this fellas if we had them now promotion would be a formality, however the worst bit is that the odds are stacked strongly against us ever seeing their like in the blue and white halves ever again.

Downing makes sense, played alright so far so deserves a chance. Problem is it does not help the numbers as he is already here.

The answer to both of those questions is the same. Christ knows they must be stupid!
By they, you mean all the scouts, coaches and managers involved in the decision-making process are stupid? In Lowe’s case where he’s spent his entire career playing above the level we’re currently at that’d be maybe 100 people, in Feeney’s case taking him to and keeping him at Cardiff about 5-10. All professionals, all paid for their opinion on football.

Whereas nobody would pay us jack for our opinions, and rightly so. 6 months ago I listed 4 managers we should get instead of Mowbray and all their clubs are below us in the league. 1 month ago you were banging (or more like obliterating) the drum for Graham out Nuttall in and Graham’s been great while Nuttall’s been woeful ever since.

We’re all wrong on here constantly. I just find it strange how little that’s considered for views that so vastly contradict what the professionals think.

Armstrong will probably go straight into Saturday's team in place of Antonsson but does not like wide left so where will he play and what changes will be made to accommodate him?
