James Vaughan linked now another name that's been linked with Rovers as many times as i can remember down the years.

I think it's fair to assume they'll be looking to get Graham off the payroll and Vaughan goals wise would be a decent replacement imo. As always though it's down to the contract as he's another made of glass and no doubt has an agent looking go stitch up a good contract at a mug club like Rovers.

Interesting times ahead

This has been in the pipeline a while.

First clues were the Senior resignation and Venus being seen at Brockhall the same week.

Interesting he's called an 'assistant to head coach'.

I suppose his first priority is to assist TM with recruitment...ROFL

I hope not to see Venus bringing any of his property development expertise to Rovers ....

I suppose Dunn and Lowe go back whence they came.

If Conor was my kid I'd have him out of Ewood asap. Home team loyalty to car crash in motion only goes so far.

I hope things work out well for the lad wherever he ends up.

May be good for his pocket but I'll bet it's bad for his career. It's easy to get forgotten sitting on the bench or in the reserves.

About the only thing Coyle got right was that Mahoney either wasn't ready or wasn't good enough when he didn't play him.
For sure a threat when he came on, but his overall contribution was poor to say the least.

whether he turns out to be good enough - time will tell - but I suspect he will just drift away and finish up playing at our current level,

(footnote - as stated before I am the worst football tipster of all time)

I think maybe he's not quite ready yet and not for a team fighting and failing relegation. Wrong place wrong time.

If he goes somewhere like PNE or indeed any well run Championship side he could do ok.

I think it's a loss to Rovers as I tend to favour skill.

That would be my main worry - He didn't appear to want to graft and sulked when the ball wasn't played to him.
Again I might be completely wrong but others didn't seem to keen to play to him......... were others trying to put him in his place?

On a lighter note they sent him in to the services for Lucozade for all the team on the way back from Reading - again maybe trying to deflate his ego?
