Myself has had a "dry February" for maybe five years now. The reason for February is that there are usually activities which includes alcoholic beverages going on in January, especially a Real Ale festival here in the Helsinki region (unfortunately the pub is closed this year). Dont do it for any special reason really but maybe i imagine myself that im living a healthier life with one dry month even though, as others have stated here, don't drink large amount of beer anymore. Some of my friends tell me Im doing it in February because its the shortest month of the year.....

Ha! Didn't see them. Seemed a lot of black people on the BBC show though. No idea what it was called or what it was about.

The whole thing was a party political broadcast by the BBC on behalf of Sadiq Khan , the useless little twerp .

NHS , EU colours , BLM , David Attenborough ( although I’m not sure how his patronising little sermon on climate change sat well with tons of fireworks being set off ) yawn ,yawn, yawn , accompanied by some ‘ goddam ‘ awful music .

The BBC then went back to Alicia Keys ( who I quite like in more ways than one ) singing the song New York from Los Angeles . You couldn’t make it up .

Oh and because it was the BBC and Khan , no mention of Brexit in the display . They obviously disapprove of the UK now having a global perspective instead of being EU myopic.

Always worthwhile celebrating an away win and a clean sheet . No dry January for me ( just drinking in moderation WB )

So tonight I’m having jerk chicken and rice and peas ( wife’s signature dish ) washed down with a decent amount of Camden Hells Lager ( a Christmas gift ) . Then and this’ll be a change for me , a couple of Benes and Brandy ( Drog’s recommdation) just to settle the stomach before bed .

OOT I bought a bottle of bene before Christmas and it's bloody empty! I had just one a week ago. Er indoors and the kids home for Christmas has done for it.
