Oh, I have been a Tyskie connoisseur for a good few years now.It reads like a bloody fruit cocktail ODB. Get down to the Polski Skleps on King St and experiment with some of their lagers.
I'd wager that's nothing to do with your capacity for drinking and everything to do with other people paying for your pints in the pub, whereas at home it's all coming out of your pocketThere's loads of choice isn't there? Czechoslovakia was the home of the original Pilsner. Germany and Poland are next door and of the same ilk. Did you know that the Czechs guarded their hops so jealously that anyone caught smuggling plants out of the country was faced with the Death penalty!
Personally I don't mind an occasional Karpackie ... no more than two though cos it's 9%!
Dunno about anyone else but if I go to a pub I can drink half a dozen without much effort but sat at home I'm lucky to drink more than two cans. Weird eh?
You obviously don't know my mates.I'd wager that's nothing to do with your capacity for drinking and everything to do with other people paying for your pints in the pub, whereas at home it's all coming out of your pocket
Good man. I certainly felt better during my recent sojourn. Now I barely touch the stuff.Thought I'd give my liver the month off and try and lose a few pounds as well. Let's see how it goes.
Your mates are all ducks and horses? You obviously don't know my mates.
One of our aged golfers, Sten, A swedish mariner, loves this. It's about the only beer he'll drink. This is quite nice but you really need to be wary of its strength. View attachment 2415
