Hmmmmm....just noticed whilst watching MotD that sharing duties on the left side for Luton against Chelsea were rovers old boys amari bell and ash Giles. Result 3-0 to Chelsea with two goals and an assist from MoM Raheem Sterling on Chelsea's right wing.

If Keith Andrews a contender for our worst player calls us Blackpool again every afternoon I will punch the tv. Idiot.

🤣

I don’t think he’s our worst player, I think in recent times Chris Brown easily achieves that status.

Does anyone remember Paul Mckinnon? He'd have to be a contender for the worst player I ever saw in the shirt, we signed him from Sutton I think for about 25 grand and he was supposed to be the second coming. If I was to liken him to a cart horse it'd be unfair on the horse.

I've just googled him, amazing career. He actually had 2 spells with Malmo as well as a spell with a club I've never heard of - Trelleborgs! He played 5 times for the Rovers and had an amazing EIGHT different spells at Sutton.

Weird CV for a player with the turning circle of a double decker bus.

We specialised in poor strikers back in the day, Joe Craig, Alan Gilliver, Jim Fryatt and the incomparable Frank Lord who made Chris Brown look like Haaland!

No list is complete without John O'Mara

Andrews was on a hiding to nothing, Ince had him here as a "pal" - he was a decent lower league player and for all his faults his shithousery when drenching the press photographers at Ewood still elevates him a little imo

Trelbergs? No I’ve never heard of them either.

Anybody think Jones could still bring anything to Ewood? A fan of the club, still registered as a player at 31 I'm sure he could still step up to the plate if we had a defender / deep midfield crisis, says wants to do coaching badges so Cat A Brockhall could benefit, also he must have a knowledge of Man Utd Academy prospects who may be in line to be offloaded by Man U. If he would take BRFC level wages I'd be keen to bring him back.

So would I but apparently he is not happy about the way the supporters reacted when he left.

Some "supporters", Al. He was good enough to command a decent fee at the time.
If he felt that he could help his "club" move forwards, and the club felt that he could help, then why not.
At the right price of course

Watched the highlights of Luton v Spurs on MoTD. Spurs won 0-1 despite going down to 10 men at HT. Would have lost by more but for an excellent game by Kaminsky.

btw A bigger plonker than Bissouma I cannot imagine. Second booking awarded for an outrageous dive when already on a yellow. I think Posteglou will have made his feelings plain in the dressing room at HT.
