btw Khmerblue did the same with his vehement hatred and unceasing opposition to Allardyce many years ago too. Had to emigrate to the 3rd world to save face when the realisation of his foolhardiness finally dawned. I hate to say 'I told you so' KB but .........

Whilst promotion is the target I would also welcome a good FA Cup run. The Cup will so allow some playing time for some of our fringe players and encourage competition for places.

At what point did it become too difficult for teams to put out full strength (or close) sides in both league and FA Cup matches?
We aren't playing until Sunday, which is 5 days after our Blackpool match and there are no more mid-week fixtures until Boxing Day, so let's steamroller Crewe, get into the hat for the 3rd round and hope Lady Luck smiles on us.

Put a few fringe players in if it has to be that way but make sure the bench is strong enough to rectify any problems should they arise.
