In terms of getting the adrenalin pumping (old fashioned backs against the wall stuff) and for £12 it was a good afternoons entertainment I have to say I enjoyed it.
How it went from so easy a canter to hanging on for grim death is I suppose because its................... a funny old game!!!

At 3-0. It looked like we would get double figures until the man in black ruined the game. Two very soft sending offs. The Ref was appalling, I hope someone lets all his tyres down.

These 3 match bans could hit us hard. Luckily one is the FA Cup replay.

Mowbray didn’t do any wrong imo. Anybody deserves criticism today it’s bennett for doing a beckham. He’s been playing pretty well but That could be 4 matches out now!

I believe it’s 3 plus one for it being his second red card.

Samuel was fantastic today. The Crewe defence had only one answer, take him out, and the referee, who was a disgrace and the most biased I have ever seen did nothing to stop them. Watching the Canadian's display, especially from corners is why I think that Raya's place is assured.

Yea agree totally but his biggest sin by a mile was not sending the Crewe man off to make it 10 against 10 for (clearly a second yellow at the very least) the assault on Samuel.
Give Crewe manager some credit, he withdrew him at half time because it was obvious the ref would have had to atone for his massive error

Also I thought that the double jeopardy of a penalty AND a red card for non dangerous fouls had been rescinded. If I'm right then obviously this clown had not heard it.

Are the refs in league one fulltime,or just like in the old days have jobs and earn dome extra cash reffing?

Glad you said that Alan - I was asking the same question today.
Just watched the highlights and that is a very very generous decision (for Crewe)

I noticed that ToMo totally ignored Bennett when he was walking off when sent off.
