My first cup game in a while...
On another note video ref being used in the palace n Brighton game, got tasty off the pitch on the league game.

I see it as a chance to get back into winning ways. We need to rekindle the winning habit and for fucks sake learn to defend corners properly. It's obvious to us. Why can't the manager see it?

I simply wouldn't select Dack, Mulgrew, Raya / Graham. If Mowbray does then he's a fool. They are currently irreplaceable (in that order) and we have more serious business to attend to. Let's be honest, we are never going to win the Cup are we? In fact I'm rather hoping that we get knocked out at Ewood.

I agree re team selection. Whilst I will be going I would prefer to see our under 23’s team line up against Hull.

Definitely. Unless you are a top 10 team in the Prem whats the point of the FA Cup these days?

If we get through this round there is a chance to get a sexy tie in the next round that would pay for a new signing.

Probably an equal chance of getting a rubbish tie too Al. I still believe that the FA Cup is simply to provide interest for mid table clubs. For anyone chasing promotion or fighting relegation it can be a very costly distraction. I would imagine most Manager's would agree and certainly coming straight after the Christmas /New Year rush of fixtures. Five matches in a fortnight is simply asking too much both physically and mentally. It's very difficult to get mentally prepared and 'up' for every single match when they come so close together. Not excusing anything but we've just spewed 4 points in two matches from what was basically imo a lack of concentration.

Give me the money they are on and I'd be mentally ready for 7 days a week.

Everybody say's that but in reality it'd soon wear off and you'd be the same as all the rest of them in no time.

Three games in a row lost now for the great messiah. Mind you a soft pen for the first and a ref that bottled decisions for both sides. Utd through as well.

Only watched the second half . Superb move that led to Everton’s equaliser . Not much hoof ball in that . Big Sam will be disappointed with Liverpool’s winner . Type of goal he prides himself on his team not conceding . Type of goal Rovers are conceding !

I’d be interested in the cost of the two teams on view . Everton side looked very youthful . The winner scored by a centre half that cost £75 million - football has gone mad .
