Read most of the posts on this thread until the ever-present ruiner of threads appeared with its overlong and vile posts.

Come on guys can’t we bin this idiot?
Or put “ignore” as its default somehow.

Yeah attack Jack Walker all you like. I won't feel provoked into responding and "ruin" a thread (even if I created it in the first place)

Hey and don't bother to read my posts. You can just read up to a certain point, bypass my response and just assume I'm the one in the wrong. Fair play right?

You are obsessed so much that there are any number of facts that you have overlooked.
1. Jack built a team which won the Premier League with 30m. That doesn't even buy half a keeper as from two days ago. Football; inflation has risen far in excess of the walkers combined wealth. Jack was a multi millionaire and if he chucked the entire family silver at the rovers he'd still have been out of his depth compared to Abromovic who in turn is now a very poor relation when compared to the Mansoors and their like.

2. Fred? Jack and Fred to all intents and purposes were 50:50 partners therefore half the walker wealth was Freds. He apparently along with his children disliked football (even 2 of Jack's children hated BRFC and football whilst the other two were ambivalent and only remained as figureheads, presumably out of a sense of duty). Fred allowed Jack to invest in the Rovers but ultimately the question needs to be asked why he would want to go out of his depth and blow the family silver on something that he had no interest in and also would never be able to survive financially on it's own?

3. The writing was on the wall back then. I quickly picked up the number of people who were politely refusing 'Corporate' invitations at Ewood Park once the novelty of dining at Ewood and watching the match in a jacket and tie had worn off. Jack himself said many times (when questioned by reporters in the early days about the level of his investment) that football is a business and that every business has to make a profit. He also said many times to the supporters that he could only do so much and that the rest was down to them. Seems now looking at Jack's legacy Ewood Park half empty that at least 15000 of that lot had very selective hearing. Even you can't deny that many thousands of 'glory hunters' sorry 'the less committed' have let the club down a lot more more than the Walker Family.
Edit... In fact now I think about it you are hardly the most committed are you? Your level of commitment doesn't extend past taking in a few matches a season does it? Why should the Walkers keep financially propping up the club when you don't? You really need to stop trying to swim against the tide Vinjay.

Sounds like the kids mentioned in this article are your type of people...

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/shell-shocked-parents-were-ousted-from-their-own-mansion-by-their-children-after-giving-them-a-£600million-inheritance-now-they-blame-themselves-for-spoiling-their-offspring/ar-BBKVECZ?li=AAnZ9Ug

Stop fighting the terminally ignorant you mean? Maybe some part of me has stopped trying especially when you have to ask yourself whether you might discourage people from getting involved. You would be trying to undermine them from day 1. Seems to be the Blackburnian way particularly for some older citizens. The type of people who do everything they can to discourage their kids if they have ambition and tell them to do something "normal" like themselves. I guess that's their way of feeling better and ensuring it won't reflect badly on them. I suppose there are some negatives (look at how people related to someone famous have their deaths reported as "this guy's brother dies, etc) but overall?

Yeah I lack enthusiasm there's some truth in that. It says something when even betting on games (most people on here probably don't bet on Rovers to lose so if you bet on a lot of wins last season that's likely to have been profitable) whether it's Rovers or anyone else can't implore me to sit through it. Maybe I need to raise the stakes but not even sure that would make a difference. Tired and worn out is my general mood but do you really want another explanation of my personal demons (not drink or drugs but certainly mental related) when you feel it's a play for sympathy or exaggerated excuses anyway? I brought up Abramovich myself and Jack's potential reaction something you seem to have completely ignored. As for Fred's part isn't the "Jack Walker trust" called that for a reason? I don't think Fred was the one influencing the trustees but he's a disgrace for not speaking out against them or his nephews/nieces.

Nobody has let JACK down more than his family. I use "Jack" in particular here rather than "club" because the sheer personal betrayal is on a staggering scale. Would you rather be screwed over by strangers (Kean/Anderson as immoral as they are were nothing to Jack) or your own relatives? Was I asking them to "prop up" the club? No. What I would have asked is for them not to endlessly try and exert influence over cowardly trustees when their "inheritance" was never at risk. How much more money do they need? Isn't the millions they already have enough particularly when some of the trust setup was based on the profitable performance of other Walker companies? Rovers obviously was more a beneficiary itself than a means to raise funds for Howard's latest Ferrari model. Why try and screw over your Father just for a bit more? Scum is what they are. You specifically say two of the Walker kids "hated" Rovers. I'm sure you're referring to Howard (given he's been known to badmouth Rovers) so who's the other? Lynda?

You know what Jack perhaps should have done? Paid likes of yourself just to keep your mouth shut and quit undermining him. You wouldn't even have to say stuff you felt was "lies" just avoid belittling the club or mentioning Lancashire United which Jack clearly felt Rovers could be the equivalent of anyway. You don't understand the domino effect that type of stuff has. Even moreso now with the internet in a way but even then whispers could travel a long way.

So many errors in that that I can't be arsed correcting you. Welcome everyone to Vinjay's world.

Weird how some clubs cop for it and some appear to be bomb proof and above the law.
