Rumours swirling that Broughton has gone. Wouldn't surprise me. He admitted ultimate responsibility for the deadline day failings last January, and his position is completely untenable in my view.

And just as quickly as those rumours spread, Broughton pops up on LinkedIn with a welcome message to Eustace and a thank you message to Tomasson. Bizarre stuff. Wonder if he'll do an interview through Rovers officially?

If Broughton was going, I would have expected it to be announced alongside Tomasson. Seems as though he might be staying. Only peep we've heard from him is on his LinkedIn profile. Is he under instruction to say nothing in an official Rovers capacity?

Elliott Jackson says the information he's got strongly suggests Eustace was a Waggott appointment. It probably makes sense because Eustace isn't a natural follow-on from Tomasson's style based on what we've seen so far, or perhaps the style Broughton wanted with his contingency list.

It begs the question: Where does this leave Broughton?

Is he no longer trusted to make footballing decisions? After all, from the point of view of Waggott and the Board, Tomasson was nothing but a headache for them, and Broughton was the man that brought him to the club.

It is just an odd situation that he has said absolutely nothing for the past two weeks in an official capacity.

Spookily enough Eustaces agents has gone into liquidation and are due to be wound up in April. I wonder who is agent is, I don’t believe he would sign a contract at Rovers unless he had agency representatives present.

There is a smell of corruption from Ewood yet again - if they cant cash in on Brockhall they will have had to find other ways to fill their brown envelopes

Broughton is on a three month notice, after that it's goodbye. He is off.
The two people who believed we were working towards becoming a 'sustainable Premier League Club' are now off. Well, one has already gone in JDT. Broughton is on his way too now. Quelle surprise. It seems very much like both were sold a pup. Waggott has never once mentioned promotion being the aim in his six or so years at Rovers. Disgustingly, he tried to argue about JDT's perception of the project in an interview with Andy Bayes by saying there was no pressure on Jon to go up and that it comes from himself due to his ambitious nature.

The fact that talk about a project and the Premier League only started when JDT and Broughton arrived and now both are seemingly heading for the exit door speaks volumes. The lying bastards above them deserve relegation and everything that comes with it, but the fans don't. It is the latter that will be left feeling the pain though. Venky's out.

The fact remains now that due to Indian govt regulations (? do they only affect BRFC?) the gravy train appears to have pulled into the sidings.

Also I recall a month or two back that a party from India had arrived to go through the affairs of BRFC with a fine tooth comb. Is this perhaps as much to do with that as Modi's crew?

Our last 4 transfer windows, with appearances, under Broughton. Remember that Szmodics and Hyam were already on our radar and think about what this lot of 3rd rate buys and loaners have replaced.
