be I checked the David Llyod Gym out at Chorley yesterday because I belive the DW is going to be manic now they've shut the bottom one and due to the fact they are supposed to opening one at whiteburk in the next 2 years. Frigging hell its dear ..£90 a month .I will queue at DW .
Check out Shaw Hill Golf Club: http://shaw-hill.co.uk/health-club/ Think the gym and swim peak times is 50 a month now if you don't have a discount.

I hate ketchup. A splash of it on any food and it's in the bin. Beetroot sounds worse. The only way I can eat beetroot is pickled.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/a...r-exercise-WON-T-help-lose-excess-weight.html

Alright it is the mail however just what I was saying and explains why I'm still fat after hours, months, years of exercise.

The body has a daily calorie usage cap WTF.....no wonder..why am I up before six ready to hit the bike, back to bed miht as well sack it off.
The words used within that article say it all, one study suggests a calorie plateau effect with exercise. The main point of the article is as I suggested your diet is the key to weight loss. However I can show studies that clearly show calories are a load of bollocks. Two groups placed on a calorie balanced diet (2500) composed of either carbs or fat consumed these foods for 2 months. If calories are the key then as they are balanced the results should be the same. However those on the fat diet lost weight and those on carbs gained weight. So calories are bollocks and the macronutrient (carb, fat, protein) content is more important. If this is the case then these studies are flawed and based on gibberish. I can also show studies that show weight loss can be enhanced by removing carbs from your diet, suggesting these are the main issue. I could go on but the point is there are flaws in the work or the method used and so the data from the individual studies should be viewed with caution and not taken as gospel. But diet is key to weight loss but then you have the minefield of what diet etc etc. You can get some serious results under varying extreme circumstances as the main flaw with sports science is its monodiscipline approach. no athelete comes seperated into these distinct areas and we see little research that puts it all together. For example combing best strength training with diet, recovery, psychology etc etc and thats when it gets interesting and serious results can be found ;)
