Brainless cricket from England in the end. This whole 'we will bowl as crap as we want (short to a small legside boundary) and chase down anything' was always going to catch up with them in the end.
One wonders what the hell the bowling coach is getting paid for as they kept on making the same mistakes.
It was a good job that the Pakistan wicketkeeper took mercy on Ali and didn't bother stumping him or it would have been a 30+ run massacre.
It was entertaining, but one of those games where the score made the game look closer than it ever was.
Aussies are up next. I don't know about you guys but i'm still concerned England are a bit over-rated in that people keep saying we bat deep, but I can hardly remember a game where any of the lower order has made a significant contribution and helped win a game.
It goes to show just how important a genuine all-rounder like Stokes is in a team.
