I‘ve just read this whole thread which I stumbled on and how interesting it is. I was a regular poster on BRFCS back in 2017 and wasn’t aware of Alan’s email about setting up a rival site. I was surprised at how many posters I knew of had agreed to join. Some really good, committed Rovers fans who were eloquent and informative and I always enjoyed reading their posts.
However, I am at a loss to explain why the majority of them don’t post on here. Was there an issue post 2017 which caused a rift? I must say I am enjoying the Rovers Chat experience as I feel that one’s views can be discussed rationally and sensibly without being subject to personal abuse. It would be great to see them back on here.
My respect goes out to the moderators and admin on this site and I hope it remains long into the future.

Thanks for that Tony but I don't personally see BRFCS as a rival site. We are all Rovers supporters and I believe that both sites can exist at the same time however I do admit that I tend to agree mostly with the posters on this site but would like to see some of the better posters on BRFCS over here.

I'm a balding little fat fecker approaching 70 and have followed Rovers as long as I can remember.
Since the late 80's my support has been mainly from afar and, at the moment, afar means in the land of Tugay! :)
I can cope with players who aren't good enough, that's the managers fault, I can also cope with players having an off day, don't we all?
I will never cope with any player who doesn't try his best and used to scream at the top of my voice "Earn your monneeeyyy" :D
