Good luck to the Pool today and to Morecambe tomorrow. I think the play off final order has been switched as I’m sure the championships play off final used to be on Monday with the first division one on the Sunday?
What´s happened with that? Is David Raya a Premier League player yet? I missed it all.

I doubt much will change tbh. I seem to recall that he'd put PNE into the hands of his son. Hemmings hated football and footballers and his sporting interest was confined to horse racing. So if his son is a committed PNE fan unlike Trevor then a few bob more might find it's way into the kitty. If on the other hand he is a chip off the old block like Owen and Karl Oyston then I doubt it.

btw I note the Donkey Lashers hate the Oyston's but it'd be interesting to see a parallel history and view what would become of the club if the Oyston's hadn't taken over when they did,

Johnsons getting on a bit and Morsy and Trav would be a tough combination wouldn't they? It would allow the likes of Buckley, Rothwell, Dolan etc to 'play a bit'. However it'd put the average age up a bit wouldn't it?

Understand that view Al , but just like Hughes , I’d prefer to call him competitive 😉 Remember this lot , one of my favourite Rovers teams . Some players in that side would have eaten Sam Morsey for breakfast.

I think he can play a bit and he’d add some steel and experience to this young Rovers team . He’d look after our younger creative players and as Drog says , with Travis , form a formidable midfield base to allow them to further express themselves.

IMO Morsy is just a thug. I can do without his type at Rovers.
C'mon Al you must remember that lots of rovers fans back in the day railed against the signings of Bellamy, Speedie, Savage, Batty, Todd and even Dickov. They all became firm favourites of the supporters in quick time. We narrowly and unforgivably missed out on the signing of Roy Keane yet he captained MU to very many trophies. Would you not have wanted that transfer to go through? Back in the day did you want 'killer Kelley' booting out of the club? The man soon became a fans favourite and is still a legend today.
I want players who stand up to the opposition, who are robust and not shrinking violets when the chips are down. My idea as a player was always hard but fair, it still is even in these days of ridiculous rulings on tackling.
On top of all this I've always seen morsy as being an inspiration to other players and a never say die character to his teammates. He certainly was against us!

McAvoy gone at PNE

I can see Roy Keane going there or Ryan Lowe.

Few Twitter posts I’ve seen for Ainsworth but he’s a rovers lad!

Reading between the lines I'd say the purse strings have been drawn tight at Deepdale like they have here. Would discount 'names' imo.
