Indeed and as do the entire squad tbh, as I commented in the Walsall summary Al.

"A word for Mowbray at this point... I have to say that the squad is looking leaner and fitter than for some years. The damage to fitness done under the dreadful Owen Coyle regime has taken some time to repair but credit where it's due, and with that fitness has come improved effort and a sense of enjoyment and pride in their game from the team."

Bloody knew what he'd do. Same team but Conway starting ahead of Payne. Chickened out again. I hope we don't come to regret it.
Team news: Plymouth v Rovers
One change for the trip to Devon as Conway comes in for Payne

Second disappointment of the day. Dingles scrape a draw with Man City.

One nil down. Shit. Third disappointment of the afternoon.
That now means that playing Conway to keep Plymouth at bay was the wrong tactic as I suspected and we should have gone for it with Payne.

2 Nil now. We are getting stuffed with that defensive line up. You got it wrong Mowbray.
We will have a mountain to climb when he finally decides to take Conway off and put Byrne on.

Smallwood off, Evans on, Conway off Nuttall on. All the subs used and no Byrne. Has Mowbray had a brain impairment?

Disappointing but unbeaten runs eventually come to an end . An away point would have been a decent result against an in form Plymouth , so really only one point worse off .

As Kb says , dust ourselves down and start again on another unbeaten run . Need Mulgrew back quickly as I think the central defence doesn’t reflect the strength of the rest of the team , without him even less so . Puzzled why TM didn’t strengthen this area in the window .

Looked at the stats and despite a poor performance they tend to favour Rovers , apart from goals scored .

Not really Al. There is no one called Byrne on our bench.

I guess the run was always going to come to an end. Wigan moving to an out of sight position and a bad day for us at Plymouth despite having all the stats in our favour except the all important one which came down in Plymouths favour .... 2 shots on target and 2 goals! In fact quite the opposite to the more limited but otherwise admirable Shrewsbury who just up the road at Bristol had 3 shots on target and scored two! Worse still the last was the winner and came in the 88th minute! So 2 points behind now having played one game more suggests that we might have 5 points to catch up!

2001/2 all over again. Lets hope we can go on another long run of favourable results and this time it needs to be a winning one rather than an unbeaten one!
