The kids have been punching above their weight most of the season and against some top outfits. This may be a false reading as I'd imagine the big clubs have lent many of their up and coming players out.

Up and coming players and not necessarily Youth per sae. We loaned out Wharton and a number of others this season haven't we?

Being a little pedantic possibly but I never mentioned the youth team though waggy. You did that. The term I used was 'up and coming'.

In my view, Drog, you were referring to the youth team's good season being a little misleading as the bigger clubs had loaned a lot of their players out.
If they cannot do that, then our youth team has had a good season and should be applauded.

I was more looking at the U23's to replace the first teamers (Vale was on the bench at Barnsley and the likes of Butterworth / Buckley / Grayson / Magloire / JRC etc have all figured in the first team squad and should be strengthening and maturing). The Academy / Youth will naturally replace them.

Latest predictions table following the close-run encounter at Ewood yesterday (sorry, I turned into ToMo for a moment then..)
Quite a few of us had enough faith in our team's ability to predict a Leeds victory, so well done.
Only one, however, got the correct score, so congrats to KhmerBlue , who also gains his third bonus point of the season as Leeds scored more than 2 goals.
At the top end, OOT seems to have stalled and ODB has now jumped into second spot.
Finally, welcome to the table to Husky - it's a big ask from here mate but kudos for giving it a shot

I had a post lockdown “ keep the faith “ thing going on , but that’s out of the window now , just like Rovers play off hopes. I’m wondering where ‘ soft touch ‘ Rovers go from here .

So back to head ruling heart , starting with Cardiff on Tuesday.

Many went for a home victory but a few kept the faith and were rewarded.

Only one of us went for a draw, so well done to Steve W - he gets another two points but retains his status of having no correct score points (yet!)
ODB needs to get his finger out or the next table will see OOT crowned as champion.

My predictive form since lockdown has been worse than Rovers ‘ form and that’s saying something . The best description is of limping over the finishing line .
