Usual scabby last day do for Everton! It's taken them 38 matches to give their fans a bit of excitement and something to shout about. I wouldn't be surprised if their eternal delusions of grandeur sees them bin Dyche off now like they did with Allardyce. How many times will we now have to listed to the usual "Never again" line trotted out by the Everton hierarchy? Meanwhile we'll have to prepare for the scum from Leeds, the Saints and finally the Foxes who join us as the only teams to have won the Premier League and be relegated.

Tbf they only got promoted two months ago. Lot to get done from planning to drawings to the actual construction.
Though they move to a new stadium in 2025/2026 so the additional building work which will cost ten million seems a waste and not exactly a great carbon footprint/eco friendly.

Poor old Luton. Away to Brighton they looked every inch a championship club. Plenty of careless mistakes made and most of them punished with a 4-1 score line. A strong Blackburn connection throughout. The much maligned (at Ewood) Steele and kaminsky in either goal with amari bell and van hecke lining up in either defence. Fair play to those lads of course but the post match motd review carried out by another ex rover that some may recall... Alan shearer! he was no doubt buoyed by the fact that Kane has elected to end his career in the German bundesliga just 47 goals short of overhauling him.

I must say I'm coming to the same conclusion that the venky's appear to have done. Pay footballers as little as possible and let them make it up in signing on fees when they clear off as Rothwell, Lenihan and BBD have. If they play well enough and are good enough they can command a fortune. As it is the poor little mites are all having their cake and ha'penny as the clubs effectively pay twice for their services.
