8wks in New Zealand being steamrollered by every opposition player that you come up against and the Lions draw the series 1-1 as today's game was a draw.....

Strange feeling for everyone concerned, the crowd didn't know how to react, both sets of players looked devastated and we sat here stunned.

NZ by far the better side, but they couldn't put the Lions away when it came down to it. I think we'll see this as tremendous achievement once the dust settles.

This may be of interest to one of you. A friend of mine has two tickets in a corporate box for England v Ireland 17th Mar. He paid £300 each, but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.

It's at Blackburn Registry Office, at 4.30pm. The bride's name is Nicola -- she's 5'4", about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook.

First of all congratulations to Scotland on their tremendous win against England at the weekend . Not many saw that coming but the Celts were terrific. England weren't at their best but there are times when you've got to give credit to the opposition.

I'm all for rivalry and banter between the nations but just read that Eddie Jones won't be travelling on public transport again after being given obscene abuse by Scottish people on the train from Edinburgh to Manchester and Manchester to London on Sunday. He's blaming public figures including Gavin Hastings for talking about cross border hatred.

I'm afraid this is the price we're paying for the rise in populist parties like the Scottish Nationalists. Patriotism is wonderful , but Nationalism wrapped up in a flag is divisive and dangerous.

Scotland fully deserved it because it was obvious that they wanted it more. I still don't understand why that 'try' for England was disallowed except for the fact that the Referee was Welsh. That might have made a better finish to the match. As it is it's certainly opened up the 6 Nations.
However ....
Some people can't differentiate between abuse and banter and especially when alcohol is the 3rd party. Just a pity the England team weren't travelling in the next coach.

One of the Welsh tries was handed to them on a plate and the last one was the result of a kamikaze pass by the French.
They will probably play much better when England come around

Every country , in every sport, always play like their lives depend on it when they’re playing against England . Exhibit A - the West Indies in Barbados and Antigua . Why does everyone dislike us so much ( apart from the Yanks ) ?

I remember once playing a Welshman at boules in a ‘final ‘ on a French campsite . He had the Irish , Scotch and assorted Europeans cheering him on . I beat him , which made it all the sweeter !

Tough one for England in Dublin . We’ll need a bit of “ for Harry and St George “ this afternoon!!

Success aggravates and frequently causes resentment and tbh for centuries since the industrial revolution and beyond in the case of Spain and France this nation has experienced success.
Annoying that the irish, scottish (scotch is a drink OOT) and assorted europeans choose to continually bite the hand that is feeding the lot of em and if ever you needed a reason to vote Leave that experience is it.
