England v Tonga up next. I know little about rugby and the balance of power but it Shouldn't be much of a contest on paper should it? Tonga only have a pop of 104000 people! I know most people play football in the uk but surely the posh kids should prevail today..... shouldn't they?
Scotland signed up for a tournament fully understanding and accepting the rules.
A bit like those who whinged about England winning the Cricket World Cup on boundaries scored . Rules are rules , if you don’t accept them don’t play the game .
To potentially threaten legal action when those agreed and accepted rules may go against you is poor sportsmanship .
Anyway the game goes ahead today and I’m sure all fair minded sports fans will be rooting for Japan .
Eng v Aus..... Pretty good game at the moment. England keeo getting the upper hand but Oz won't lie down. Lots of psychology in a match that at 27-16 can still go either way.
France down to 14 men for the rest of the match went on to lose the match 20-19! Mighty impressive specimen but I still expect him to kneel before La Guillotine when he gets back to France.... unless his teammates have already done the job in the dressing room! "France born, France bred... Strong in th'arm, thick in th'ead".
Enthralling match on TV now! England 10-0 up v the Allblacks!........ and we've had two bloody tries disallowed! Could be 24-0! I know nowt about Rugby but I suspect jiggery pokery with the VAR.
England win an enthralling match 19-7
The All Blacks made to look very ordinary and the only try they got we gave them.
Australia in the quarters, new Zealand in the semis, not an easy route but England did it!
Got to win the final now, come on!
Scrappy , error ridden game which SA won by three . Unlucky Wales
Next week will be a heck of a tough one for England . Add that extra 20% that all teams seem to find when playing England , in whatever sport , it should be a cracking game .
