Hmm is it brilliant? If they're good enough to win games in the Championship then yeah. If they're not but we just don't have any other senior players fit, then it doesn't bode well for having 8 games in the next month.

I like that starting 11 though. Adam Wharton reminds me of Tugay, brilliant on the ball but so bad defensively that the guy alongside him in midfield needs to be an absolute rock. Savage did the job brilliantly with Tugay, and I think Tronstad is really growing into that role.

Adam Wharton reminds me of Tugay, brilliant on the ball but so bad defensively that the guy alongside him in midfield needs to be an absolute rock. Savage did the job brilliantly with Tugay, and I think Tronstad is really growing into that role.

With Adam Wharton, it is just some of his over-relaxed moments on the ball and occasional poor pass that puts us in trouble. He'll learn and get better at that, but defensively, he's not afraid of putting in a tackle from what I've seen.

Agree with the starting XI. In spite of our horrendous injury list, it's not a bad lineup at all. The bench is threadbare as far as senior players go, but there must be a strong desire from those young lads to get onto the pitch and show something. Tomasson will keep his powder dry for as long as possible today, particularly if the game is tight. If we're winning or losing heavily, one of them might get a good chance.
