I suspect the pay at the pump would work if they were allowed to take Bitcons.

I am surprised at the number of folk who pay cash for fuel at this Petrol Station. Tells you everything about the Blackburn economy. I rarely carry cash anymore (£10max) and always use a card.
:joy:

I suppose it's a little ploy to get people to go inside to pay instead hoping that they'll buy something else, annoying though. We can't all wait for the Bitcoin revolution !

Don't think there's a Bitcoin ATM in Blackburn yet...

Was my explanation over Rothschilds enough Theno? Like I say its been hard enough trying to take down Anderson, Walkers, trustees, etc before targeting Rothschilds! I'm not Superman and even he has limitations lol.

Me too. Cash is only for very minor purchases and down the pub.

I use contactless down the pub. Cash is for owd codgers and the black economy (are we allowed to call it that now? Serious question by the way).

I even open a tab with my mate(s) and pay by card at the end of the night in the local! Helps them too as it saves their change (everyone gets home from a neet aht with a pocketful of change don't they?) and means they don't have as much cash on the premises at weekends. Unfortunately I don't have access to much cash so getting rid isn't an issue..... having just paid my tax bill I bloody well wish it was tbh!

I sometimes pay my bar tab at the end of the month, even when using the card I still leave a cash tip (I keep a small cash bag for car parking).

I have calculated my tax rebate will be around £3,750 so I am going to treat myself to a nice holiday in South America.

I had a nice email from Rovers CEO Steve Waggott. The content is private but needless to say he was positive and talking about turning Rovers into a community club. He sounds like he meant it ..... he has my support.

How come? Did you contact him for something or was it unsolicited?
I met him outside the Bristol Rovers ground, he just came up and said hello and started asking a few questions about how long I had been a fan, what did I think about the Club. We had a chat about the 1875 Club and similar matters. I then wrote him a short email after pr option was secured saying the communications had improved and that I supported his community club vision and that I could already see some positives - he kindly responded focussing on the improvements on and off the pitch.

He seems like a genuine bloke who is trying to make a real difference. I can usually spot a bullshi!!er and he is not one of them.

You didn't by any chance mention this forum did you? It would be good if he had a look at us.

Did you ever meet Paul Agnew before Venkys arrived?
