Swansea were slow, narrow and it worked in Rovers favour, it allowed us to get in shape and get numbers behind the ball, Swansea lack a killer passer and actual wing backs. Ldbatuediere is a centre half playing right wing back, Sorinola who came on is surely a better option there? Cabango on the bench for Darling to start was weird as Cabango is one of the best centre backs In the league. Martin's tactics were shocking from the first minute and it was clear he had no plan B. I thought Manning looked as if he'd given up for the afternoon yesterday, a lad on this pitch wh progressively got worse with every minute being played, what I can't understand was Martin saw Swansea have 15 mins of the second half in full flow before JDT then killed the game off with a formation change and the introduction of Edun, after that Swansea gave nothing.
JDT had Rovers well drilled, well organised and I thought we were good value at 2-0. Once we weathered that spell early in the second half I don't think I worried to much about them in all honesty.
Interesting Martin commented on the fact we lined up and played differently to what he watched last week and was expecting Rovers to play like.
