I rate him - He has struggled since his return but has a great engine and a good football brain - just needs to find his form. What are peoples thoughts on harry pickering? Seems to be getting a slaughtering from the fans recently.
Great post. I’m a fan of him generally I think he looks a bit slower following his lay off though, maybe he’s holding back so doesn’t do his hamstring again?I rate him - He has struggled since his return but has a great engine and a good football brain - just needs to find his form.
what nobody seems to consider is he gets limited cover so is (like Nyambe was a times) never sure whether to stick or twist.
He reminds me of Brett Emerton - he is still putting in the runs and offering an option late into the game
As soon as one is available Al, I'll post it on here for you.Otto man can you give me a link for the Swansea game like the one for QPR please?
I like him and think there’s potential there although for some reason he appeared to have been shackled from going forward against QPR. Last season he was actually getting in the opponents penalty area! What are peoples thoughts on harry pickering? Seems to be getting a slaughtering from the fans recently.
Otto I wish you could post one that actually works on the iPad. I’m seriously considering acquiring a cheap old PC to see if the links work on the windows platform. As soon as one is available Al, I'll post it on here for you.
Now, I'm no IT expert ODB but I don't understand why the links don't work on your ipad. As far as I'm aware, a link is a link. It should not matter which operating system you are using.Otto I wish you could post one that actually works on the iPad. I thought he was immense last season and whilst I realise it's early days, he looks a totally different player now. Poor passing, playing the ball backwards constantly. As I said in an earlier thread, he just seemed to keep giving the ball away to opposition players. Is this a result of JDT's new regime, who knows?I like him and think there’s potential there although for some reason he appeared to have been shackled from going forward against QPR. I'd guess that JDT was against him going fwd in the second half on the basis of the Rovers being in the lead. Is JDT more naturally cautious and defensively minded than Mowbray perhaps? Be odd if that is he case but it could be. Maybe if we were 1 down and QPR playing more defensively his instructions might have been to drive forward to offer width up top? (width being definitely lacking last week)I like him and think there’s potential there although for some reason he appeared to have been shackled from going forward against QPR. Szmodics must have impressed JDT as he starts today.Like the lineup
