I can't see this being a go'er..... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64285556
More money to football doesn't go to the clubs to help their survival and improve their spectator facilities. It just creates a prune juice effect as described by Alan Sugar and ends up in the pockets of players and their agents.
Proof of the PJ effect?...... How stupid that Chelsea have just stumped up 80 odd million and an 8.5 year contract for a 22 year old striker from Shaktar Donetsk who until this season had only scored 2 goals for 3 different clubs! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64288859

I hope they get relegated and then someone cheats against them and they lose the playoff the following year.

Elephants have forgotten more than me.

I don't really see a problem as we only need a couple of dozen anyway and cream will always rise to the top. However I do believe that as BRFC fans we do frequently moan and groan at some players when we should consider that just over 30 years ago would actually have been playing in the old 1st Division and no where near Ewood Park.

Unless Fulham fine him the amount of his wages it's effectively a fully paid, early close season and an elongated summer holiday for mitrovic and punishing Fulham twice over, Be interesting to see what happens at the cottage.

the FA want a longer punishment for mitrovic and no doubt seeing this might have influenced them. 12 match ban for the referee! Comedy gold! They all deserved a knee in the knackers imo. Well funny!😂

After chants by Man City fans now this..., https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65184314

Only my Opinion but Liverpool have helped bring this on themselves by seeking to turn the hillsborough tragedy into their version of Munich. Munich which has of course contributed to the coffers and massive popularity of Man Utd and has long been recognised as an income stream by the cold hearted Liverpool money men.
I've not heard the chants but I'd bet my bottom dollar that their is no reference to heyschell which surprise surprise Liverpool fans and club appear to have forgotten about.

There’ll be plenty of offensive chants from the scum down the m65 when they come to Ewood.

Agree. Self pity City at it's finest.

Always the victim, it’s never their fault. Just like the chant goes. Apparently there were 22 shootings in Liverpool last year but thankfully only five died! What a sh1thole!

So its 2 out of 3 for citeh after they elbowed Man Utd aside in the all Manchester FA cup final. So nice to see Man Utd supporters at last having to take the bitter pill of metaphorically having sand kicked in their faces by a wealthier club filled with better players! A club which like Everton in Liverpool has been a long way second best for generations. It's been a long time coming and no doubt we'll soon get sick and tired of City fans gloating but at the moment I can easily put up with it. As Alan Shearer has opined, Man City currently can turn out the two best teams in the Premier League!

So....... Yet another prime example of why our national stadium should have been located in the Midlands somewhere close to the facilities of the NEC. I once had a reckon up and almost 70% of FA Cup finalists from the start have been from North of Birmingham! Even worse this season as the play off finals at Wembley featured
Coventry v Luton
Sheff Wed v Barnsley
and
Carlisle v Bradford!
Next up the Carabao cup semis and finals featured 3 northern clubs out of the four (Southampton, Newcastle, Nottm Forest and eventual winners Man Utd).
Finally the Papa Johns Final featured a full house for the Bolton v Plymouth final. How tf can London be anywhere close to being in the middle of that lot? When the decision was made to rebuild Wembley in London it stank to high heaven as far as I was concerned. Croneyism, corruption, southern bias within the FA, it's all there and the sole reason that I decided never to set foot in the place.... even if BRFC might make an appearence there at some time!
How ludicrous now that environmental concerns are so high on most agenda's that the FA waste planetary resources dragging all these people to that dreadful corner of North London. I'd love some number cruncher to estimate the cost to the planet and the environment of 75000 people travelling down to Wembley on such a regular basis.

What a load of bollox!
Never mind blowing smoke up jdt's arse! He inherited a decent squad that under Mowbray only missed out on the play offs because of a horrendous run of results in spring. No difference there then is there? He inherited a fine crop of young talent coming through the academy, largely thanks to Mowbray. Oh and mowbray's newly promoted sunderland actually made it into the play offs by squeezing us out.
jdts done good but so did Mowbray as well. let's not rewrite the history books eh?
