Hmmm not sure about that. I think I'd rather enjoy Bene on it's own as a chaser.

Local one that has gone national. Couple of smackhead chavs who brutally murdered their newborn baby. Poor little bastard suffered 32 rib fractures, skull fracture and brain injuries. Both parents were charged and sent down for 10 years. They'll probably be out in five for good behaviour and free to breed again. Why can't scum like this be sterilized?

Meanwhile this gang of burglars who went on a £2m crime spree are facing up to nine years in prison. I guess you can put a value on a child's life.
This is an indictment of our society. Sometimes I think we deserve to fail. Our grandfathers and great grandfathers must be rolling in their graves.

Interesting condition that ADHD. I'm hearing more and more of it these days. It's used in defence of all sorts of assorted dollopers in courts and schools etc but it really puzzles me because we didn't have it when I was young. Usual excuse rolled out back then was that the offender had been drinking heavily after the death of a close relative.

Spot on. I know kids want to spread their wings but the rest of the world doesn't work like it does here. The world is a dangerous place.
As far as Tinder etc is concerned it's just a bloody good job that Fred West is brown bread and the likes of Sutcliffe, Huntley etc are banged up forever inside. It's just made for those types isn't it? Barmaid in the local went off to meet some bloke from Wigan a fortnight ago. Never met him just got his contact from tinder. She went out with him 3 times and then ditched him but how dodgy / dangerous even is that?

Do you mean never having met him or that he was from Wigan???

I see they've found that young backpacker's body and charged a guy for murder.

Harsh as it sounds, maybe this will teach other girls who decide to spend their gap years solo-travelling in foreign countries. They think it's this wonderful journey of self-discovery, blissfully unaware of the risks involved. She wasn't in new zealand long but she hooked up with a stranger on tinder and paid the price.
In an ideal world, women should be as free to do anything as men are. And the people brave enough to try are the people that change things. The reason that globally hundreds of thousands of women feel empowered to travel solo is because tens of thousands did 20 years ago, thousands did 40 years ago, hundreds did 60 years ago etc. They all deserve credit if you ask me, living your life and encouraging others to behave purely through expecting it of them isn't a bad way to be.

I agree with your points about girls / women being free to travel . Certainly, when we ( well those who live in the East Lancs textile towns ) see girls’ / women’s rights going backwards at a rate of knots in some communities , those who are fortunate and privileged enough to enjoy a gap year and worldwide travel , should be encouraged to do so .

However I also agree with Drog & Amo who have mentioned that Tinder & other forms of ‘meeting up’ sites can give heaven sent opportunities to dangerous individuals and put these solo female travellers in danger . It’s in this area that they should take the utmost of care

This tragic incident at a Christmas Market now being considered to be a terror attack. Maddeningly, frustratingly and sadly , the gunman was already known to the security forces , one of 26,000 individuals suspected of posing a security risk to France . These are all on a watch list with about 10,000 believed to have been radicalised online or abroad.

27 criminal offences across europe it seems and it's also come to light that he was radicalised whilst in prison. Why was he free in europe and not in some detention centre? I'd suggest that someone needs to point a finger at the European Court of Human Rights .

The left, along with constantly accusing the right of racism, use the stock defence of Muslims by saying its a small percentage of extremists. Whilst that's true on the face of it, the percentage of Muslims willing to commit atrocities is way, way too high to be accepted by any peaceful society.

26,000 that the authorities know about, maybe 50,000 that they don't know about? And that's today, when the number of Muslims in France approximates 5 million. How many potential security risks will there be when that's 20 million?

Slowing the flow of immigration into this country is my over-riding priority in politics. Its the reason I voted Leave, UKIP and the Tories. Whilst Labour show absolutely no backbone whatsoever in protecting western values, or even acknowledge they're under threat, I won't vote for them.

Immigration can be good but it's a double edged sword. Immigration should only be available to people with special skills who will be of benefit to the nation or (and this might sound mercenary but I believe it's logical) very rich people who bring wealth to our economy. Unfortunately and the one thing none of the lefty tree huggers can grasp is that the country that they are leaving is disadvantaged by losing those skills and wealth. On the other side of the coin unskilled people are of no benefit as we have plenty of our own and quickly become a burden on the state.

You won't like this any more than I do b&wh. Anyone who has attempted to drive along a motorway or take the train will know the effects. London is just a zoo these days.

"Overall net migration in the year to June was 273000, of which 248000 was from non-EU countries. Net migration from outside the EUis at it's highest level for 14 years, and up from the 172000 last year. Net migration from within the EU at 74000 is at it's lowest level for six years. Last year it was 103000."
