This tragic incident at a Christmas Market now being considered to be a terror attack. Maddeningly, frustratingly and sadly , the gunman was already known to the security forces , one of 26,000 individuals suspected of posing a security risk to France . These are all on a watch list with about 10,000 believed to have been radicalised online or abroad.

Thankfully they killed him , but too late for those tragically murdered by this piece , and on this occasion it’s justified , of s**t

I rather hoped that they had taken him alive and sent him off to share a cell near Bin Laden's in Guantenamo Bay for 'questioning'. Then again, maybe they have.;)

It seems a couple of Morecambe and Wise shows which were never broadcast in the 60's have turned up in Sierra Leone. God only knows how they got there but it's feared some of the jokes might upset our 21st century sensibilities. For example there are jokes about the IRA and Irish people being stereotyped as thick which would never get put out today. Some luvvie type that they interviewed stated that the scripts were written in "less enlightened times".:mad: FFS! Less enlightened? What an insult to the generation that saw off Hitler, lived through two World Wars, the Great Depression plus the years of poverty following, experienced over a decade of rationing, and were in the midst of the Cold War! That twerp needs enlightening with a punch on the nose! If any generation is less enlightened it's this one and the one before.... they know the square root of sweet FA about real life don't they?

Is this generation enlightened or suppressed? I'm beginning to wonder. Whatever happened to freedom of speech?

This could equally have followed Drog's latest post on the "The news @RF.com" thread.

We were somewhat less enlightened in the 70s as we hadn't yet realised what a waste of public money the BBC was and what was going on behind its closed doors.
The latest this week was that the new Eastenders set has gone £27m over budget and been deemed as "not value for money".

I suspect that we are the generations living in less than “Enlightened” times. And we did it to ourselves.

Indeed. Been twice and I feel Morocco is definitely dodgy, although I'm told theft and crime is very severely punished so that tourism doesn't suffer. I repeat... I will never travel to another muslim country. With all the rest of the world to go at why go to the fly blown shit holes which constitute most muslim nations?

We had a guide on a day trip to the Atlas mountains. At every stop we got out of expensive 4x4's with expensive cameras and phones etc and were besieged by berber children (who lived in what were effectively concrete pill boxes) surrounding us trying to sell coloured stones from the desert. I asked Khadija how long continual displays of wealth would take before the worm turned? She told me that it wouldn't as the people of morocco were not like that. A few weeks later and the Parid-Dakka rally was cancelled because of terror threats!
N.B. Albeit those threats were in Senegal but it's just down the coast and all the same really isn't it?

You won't want to read this story then:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-46632182

Two Scandinavian girls travelling in Morocco have been butchered by muslims in a suspected terror attack.

Left Denmark to be "culturally enriched" and got beheaded by savages. Did these girls honestly think it was safe to go backpacking in a shithole like Morocco? Did they think "it won't happen to me", until it does, of course.

Or perhaps they were brainwashed by diversity propaganda into thinking Islam is a cuddly wuddly religion of peace? Wouldn't surprise me, as Scandinavia is one of the more cucked parts of Europe. Won't be long before we catch them up.
I definitely see what you're saying but there's risk to anything in life. If you've full knowledge of the risk and still think it's worth taking then who am I to criticise. Turkey is still a popular tourist destination for people at my work to take their families because it's cheaper than southern Europe but has the same weather and facilities. It's more risky but I don't lecture people about it.

One thing I will say. The middle-class, university-educated young liberal women who go on these travels are exactly the type of feminist who love to hysterically demonise male behaviour in western countries. This will sound callous but frankly that group deserve to experience the effects of an actual male patriarchy so they can get some perspective.

What about the Gatwick fiasco? Isn't this the way this has been handled sign of a soon-to-be post-Brexit second rate country?

Or is Jeremy Corbyn to blame for it too?
