Anyone who reads my thoughts on here will know that I have repeatedly extolled the island of South Georgia for this very purpose. Let's be honest a stay on ascension would be quite a nice break whereas only seals and penguins would find South Georgia an attractive destination.

Never happen unfortunately as there isn’t a hospital there. This government are losing the plot. All we have to do is dump them back onto the French beaches and let them sort them out.
A field hospital would do and a Flying doctor service from the Falklands. Alternatively it would simply need a RN vessel patrolling the waters and many of those will have medical facilities onboard. Remember we sent our troops there 40 years ago without land based hospital facilities.

Now the RAF and the US are against the ascension isle idea. I can well understand that too, there will be lots of RAF personnel stationed there and a branch of the US space agency. Only a suicidal fool would want to use ascension to home mainly Muslim illegal immigrants from unknown origin and background.
