The next Rovers manager

He was always leaving TM after getting no backing in January now we are saddled with a huge rebuilding job which will take 2 years at least and I don’t think Tony had the means to carry on and perform that squad surgery.

Lumped with Hedges too on a four year contract seems rather strange how that got sanctioned now.

Hedges will do ok here. He makes some good intelligent runs and movement yesterday and PNE away game

well its was 3 and half contract with a club option of 12 months.

I have no idea what your problem with him but he has more than decent in last 3 games for us. So what's the problem?
He is nowhere near the quality required at this level. Agreed last three games he’s put a shift in! That unfortunately though is a minimum requirement for any footballer.

Hedges to me looks a complete dud. What happens if he dosent fit in with the new manager we have a financial liability for 3.5 years? Not the wisest of moves was it?

Conversely, DFC, a new manager might hit the spot with him.
It's a game of unknowns, is football management.
Hitting on the right combo is like winning the lottery at our level.
It's only the top five or six clubs that can afford to buy the right combination.

Are you taking the proverbial? Bowyer has found his level at Salford.
Just an alternative shot at a guess. Half the managers being mentioned on here wouldn't come. Bowyer made the club a lot of money with his eye for a player whilst Barr has already managed well the kids coming through from the academy. I see the academy as being our gathering ground for our players of the future as we resurrect faltering talent from the big clubs.

I prefer to turn that around dave.... it's only the top five or six clubs that can afford to buy the wrong combination.

I sorry to have tom disagree with you but he has been much better in those 3 games than Dolan or Poveda has been.

I think Hedges is good overall squad player and someone who the new manager can used properly we got a good player there.

Don't get all this negative comments on Hedges tbh.

Farke and Ainsworth are interested in the job.

Tbh Drog, Bowyer has had his time here and he shouldn't be on the shortlist at all.

In today's LT, its appears that Venus, Lowe, Benson and Johnson are all still under contract but our head of medical services Andrew Mitchell is leaving for Red Bull Leipzig. Another physio has left for Manchester United woman team and Liam Mason, Blackburn Rovers' head of athletic performance, is set to join Newcastle United as the exodus of staff from Ewood Park continues. .

100% agree on Hedges
He has had next to zero game time and will turn out ok

He was making himself available and made some great runs that were ignored time and again on Sat. I could see him and Buckley working well together

And our performance sports science coach Jack Dowling who left last month for Everton.
