Schoolboy error SLKSTalk about shooting oneself in the foot indeed Theno. Made the mistake of introducing the better half to Benedictine. The bottles are not lasting like they were!

Our Beers - Timothy Taylor's
Timothy Taylor established the brewery in the centre of Keighley in 1858, moving to The Knowle Spring, our present site, in 1863. The principle of not accepting second best was laid down and remains with us to the present day. This means that the very finest ingredients are used to brew the best...www.timothytaylor.co.uk
I have one of those in the fridge waiting for me. A great session beer.
That is a belting good beer RobinSo tonight’s celebration drink is from...drum whirls....Burnley! Great win tonight lads. Let’s hope for another three points next week against Cardiff.
Decent pint. Our lads favourite away trip was always Brentford:Tonight’s pint is from your capital. Fullers have several decent beers and my favourite is most likely London Porter with ESB coming close behind. It’s interesting that Porter has always been strongly linked with English beer/tradition but always when I have visited England I have hard time to find Porter available on cask or keg. Is there actually people liking this style or does it belong to the past?
Hazy ESB picture...Decent pint. Our lads favourite away trip was always Brentford:
- Fullers Brewery Tour
- river boat trip
- all four of the pubs on each of the corners of the ground
- defeat (usually)
- back in the pub
- curry
- hotel locally
- ‘slight’ hangover
’Hazy’. That says a lotHazy ESB picture...
You'll struggle to find a porter in a "normal" pub but there are quite a few around in craft beer bars, usually with a bit of a twist to them.Tonight’s pint is from your capital. Lager lout!!Sounds ruddy awful to me.
Heineken is "probably" the most bland beer on the market as far as I am concerned when compared with the Italian and Czech (Staropramen) lagers, although I'm really a real ale man. This is excellent news!
For far too long the brewing goliaths have ridden roughshod over pub tenants.
