I would have thought it was self explanatory.
I'm asking for your interpretation. Tell me what's "proper" about Mowbray on Saturday's evidence (and recent run of form) that makes him better than the useless Berg, Appleton, Coyle, etc. Bowyer was overrated by some too more kindergarten cop than manager.

Note I didn't mention Kean but nobody compares to him. Worthless human being never mind bad manager.

What the hell does that mean? One who openly comments about how quiet the dressing room was after game on Saturday? Like I said on match thread where the hell was the damn inquest? Not saying you have to scream in each other's faces and toss inanimate objects around but it would have been hell of a lot better than nothing.
I disagree. Let it sink in and then have the inquest Mon am. tbh though not all that much of an inquest is necessary when our two best players and in the most imp positions on the pitch have been ruled out through injury.

Well Hoban does have a good rep from Watford albeit shown little here (injury hasn't helped) thus far. Brown obviously is well known though he's basically been a waste of space. I didn't think it was the worst pairing on paper to replace Mulgrew/Lenihan. Obviously on Saturday they were dreadful though the midfield was also about as passive as you can get.

As for post match inquest time is rapidly running out. Sometimes immediate reaction is the right reaction. If there was an actual inquest today hopefully Mowbray mentions it.

Trouble is at a club like Rovers now where going nowhere is the norm and there is no ambition whatsoever and a lot of very average journeymen on the books when they step in they never give it their all just go through the motions. They know they'll be back to the bench or out the squad again in no time never mind the ones on loan or contracts up. Mentally they just aren't up for it it's just another day at the office.

Been going on for years now and maybe another reason why GB always insisted on tinkering as in his under qualified capacity he was just trying to keep everyone sweet and involved but even he got let down regularly. Until the blasé environment at the club is altered and they start seasons with a real goal in mind it'll never change.

We are just a wages cash cow regardless of performance / league position.

TM is not to blame for coyles squad, wtf brings in wes brown? What ever happens this season TM starts with a clean slate with me,if we are in div 3 next season i expect 5 or 6 reserves to be promoted, after all we will have the biggest wage bill in the league paying of shebby, agnew, shaw, salgado, nelsen and many more.

Some welcome and positive comments on BRFCS about the under 21's Development Squad game last night. TM should consider these as our longer term hope.

Out of all those receiving payoffs who's still being paid off? Shaw is the latest though seems to have been a one off settlement. Not sure that's the case with ex players not sure about managers, executives (applies loosely in some cases), etc. How much did Coyle get and was it all upfront? I know Myers didn't take a payoff or sign a NDA.

Fundamental defensive errors and a complete lack of inquest on Saturday aren't Coyle's fault. Brown has been a waste of space for sure though not like there were a ton of options with the "budget". Suppose he will get a clean slate to an extent in summer. If it is indeed L1 he's certainly better than nobodies like Redfearn, Slade (starting his 3rd job of the season) and with Venkys standards being so low its a positive. Then again I thought Coyle wasn't the absolute worst (and neither did I think he merited the job) and look where club was in Feb and still is. Relegation zone. That was my thinking with Mowbray too and would have viewed him the same way in summer.

Mowbray's comments yesterday about "not going out with a whimper"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39554101

So once again why the lack of inquest after game on Saturday? As for "not going out with a whimper" that's too much to expect on the decibel scale after past few years! Its not much consolation either really is it? OK in 1999 team showed some fight not being crushed by United that night but it didn't change the gutless display v Forest or numerous others. Nor did it lead to a good start in following season when club started as promotion favourites! Damn sure that won't be the case next year in L1 never mind the Championship!

How do you know there was a lack of inquest after the Barnsley match?

He said they were quiet in dressing room afterwards. Maybe there's been an inquest since (not reading that piece of garbage newspaper to find out) but it should have been immediate.

Already answered that question too.

I know you have but it doesn't mean that you answered it accurately.

I don't know if Mowbray can keep us up. But I think he's competent and we have a chance.

Note that it is many bad decisions which have gotten us to this point, none of which are Mowbray's fault. Fingers crossed and here's to getting three points Friday.

Indeed so Steve. Imagine driving along and seeing the 3 venkys and Anderson and Kean emulating the Beatles Abbey Road cover. I know who I'd drive over first.

Unsure, early days I thiught he was the new Messiah. Now, AFTER, he got time to work with the squad we look as bad as ever. Just not sure, like the sound of him but he has to get his message on to the pitch. Dreading Forest. I don't think I can stand another stint in the 3rd division. Whoever was the one responsible for Coyle being hired needs bull whipped.

Can't believe he's saying this again.

"IT WAS A PRETTY QUIET DRESSING ROOM IN THERE!"

Yeah that helped after Barnsley game didn't it too? Yeah ineffective on the field and even more ineffective off it.

The new manager bounce was just that it seems. I had hopes when the team lifted on his arrival but I think we can now see why his managerial career has been rather less than successful.

Yeah well I pointed that out from start. He's no better than Coyle on current evidence (or indeed the evidence when he joined) and he's gone way down in my estimation today.

Maybe the Punatics/owners have played a blinder again, make it look like we tried a bit to avoid getting relegated
