Loan out to the Eredivision eh?
Holland's not all that far from Ewood is it? I don't suppose we can find a team in China for him can we?

last season you and a few others slagged off Raya that ended well.
'ended well'? It's an apples and pears argument but we've let 35 goals in this season after 27 matches v 41 at the same stage with Raya in the sticks PLUS of course 3m quid which contributes to the gazillions that we've spewed on crap strikers. Hows that for an ending?

Everyone (including me) will see Raya as the better reaction keeper (he might even have got to Harrop's shot) but personally I see Walton as overall the better all round keeper option. The defenders in particular appear to have more confidence in him.
So without the continual cheap point scoring and misty eyed moaning it's not me who makes the decisions at Ewood, also the facts remain that Raya wanted to leave, Mowbray wanted better and to cap it off Walton is only on loan.

Oh and Brereton quite simply isn't a 'player' at this level. In fact I'd say he's playing 3 divisions too high. How Mowbray will square this loan move with the owners I really have no idea.

Maybe by getting shut of Brereton and a few others surplus to requirements, it might free up some coin to bring in a short term fix as in the scoring department. A Jermaine Defoe type of signing might temporarily raise the age profile of the squad, but could make a huge difference. We've started shutting up shop in defence and suddenly can't score!

Suddenly? You mean from the minute Dack ruptured his cruciate SLKS.

Danny Graham has the quality and more importantly the know how necessary but his pace and stamina are letting him down. It's a shame but with the massive wealth swilling around the Premier League most players simply retire rather than have to step down whilst they grub enough money together to retire to that pub / paper shop / post office etc. However a Billy Sharp / Jermaine Defoe / Glenn Murray type could do a real job for us until the end of the season.

After PNE I sadly think Danny’s day has gone. We need a striker in and sharpish as priority, anything else should be second place.

i got told this the last time i saw my mates were in the penh, mulgrew and raya had fistycuffs caused by mulgrew both blamed one another for the defensive mishaps, mulgrew had his faults and passing the blame was one, raya told tm he was unhappy being dropped for a disciplanary matter that was not his fault ,but both him and mulgrew missed the last 6 games and niether are here, suprised the butlers rumour mill did not know this, dropsy will never be anywhere nr as good as raya.

The stats say otherwise. Anyway it's all water under the bridge.
