If Sam Hart he can't displace Amari Bell and / or Bennett then he's little future here tbh,

Having looked at wiki he would be an absolute scoop which makes me think better sides would be ahead of us in the queue for his services. Still though?

Reading an article on transfer speculation and I'm amazed to discover Jordan Rhodes salary is 40k pw and that Garry Monk at Sheff Wed is increasingly desperate to get him away from the club and out on loan just so long as they pay ALL his wages! Good luck with that one Garry!

Apparently, we had agreed a loan deal for a Chelsea defender but Brighton have pinched him on a permanent deal.

It's looking good for a 12th place finish so far. With most other teams strengthening their sides whilst Rovers sit on their hands as usual.

13 million is big bucks for a Championship team so no blame to the owners this time. Any blame must be apportioned to those who decided to spend it on one poor player and one fairly average sort!

Quote from a Lancashire Evening Telegraph reporter on the lack of progress in securing new players :

“ Says quite a lot too when even Premier League players with little to no experience are on salaries far above the Rovers pay grade “

Tough for a smallish town club , averaging 13,000 fans to compete financially, even at Championship level . Any available funds have to be spent wisely and TM has had more misses than hits on that basis , with Brereton and Gallagher being glaring examples .

Having said that, so far this season the Rovers have exceeded my expectations , so all credit to TM for that .

Indeed so. We are back in the 80's again in terms of income although currently our owners are supporting the club financially. However imo Mowbray has had plenty of 'hits' in recruitment. Rothwell, Armstrong, Holtby, Reed, Tosin, Dack, Downing bearing testament to that. Problem is that his expensive headline signings have been average to poor and just bloody awful! You'll all know who I mean!
