Smallwood should do. It'll be in Leagues 1 or 2 I expect, but he's capable at that level, experienced, isn't injury prone he should get a start on Saturdays too. His only problem might be in matching his current remuneration package.

The Irish connection! I doubt many will stand in the way of that move tbh. So if he and Richie are on their way out that's our promotion winning midfield gone in a stroke.
However this made me chuckle......."The versatile Evans could be a good option for Stoke as he can play in midfield as well as in defence". Can he really? Is he really? Well he should have told us before now if he can shouldn't he?

If DG leaves it frees up a striker and i reckon TM should ask Drog for advise on who he buys because then he cant complian like a old maid.

 I'd have a job to do any worse than Brereton if I stuck 20 names in a hat of strikers valued at 1m or less and drew a name out at random.

Oh! And you can be the goalkeeper scout.

Bell is grace and speed personified when he moves. A proper athlete and when I first saw him I thought 'we've a Rolls Royce here'. Just a pity that he's two yards slow between his ears. He seems to react too late to many developing situations.

Correct. Similar feelings I'd imagine to the owners.

I've not watched much of that Stockley at PNE but whilst he might lack finesse he's a strong target man who roughs up and unsettles the opposing centre halves and can knock the ball down for teammates. With the likes of Dack, Armstrong, Holtby, Johnson and Rothwell buzzing around that type could be just what we need to provide striking options depending on the opposition, and particularly so given the failings of Mowbray's pathetic big money buys. £750,000 from Exeter is our kind of budget.
