Off to see Rival Sons at Manchester Academy tonight.
Meeting up at 5pm in Manchester for a few beers beforehand but the wonderful rail union is still striking on Saturdays, so my only realistic way of getting there and back is via bus.
I need to leave home at 2pm to catch a bus from Wilpshire to Blackburn.
Then a bus from Blackburn to Accy
Then a bus from Accy to Manchester to arrive around 4:35pm
Last bus back is 23:15 and gets to Accy at 00:20 then a taxi home.
Luckily, there is a day rider ticket for £10
It had better be a good gig!!
The wife asked why I don't just drive

What to watch a band?

No instead of riding on buses and watching bands. Best plan today is watch the rovers and go for a post match pint with BB.... or me and watch either Sky footy or the Rugby and miss the band.
